UFC heavyweight Frank Mir suffered an undisclosed injury in training and was forced to withdraw from his cross-promotional bout against Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix champion Daniel Cormier.
Strikeforce officials are now working on locating a replacement opponent.
An undisclosed injury??? im guessing its some freaky sex related injury. Probably was in bed with the cyborg when she forgot it wasnt a fight and applied the arm bar to the hotdog.
mir would have lost anyway bring on TIMMAYYY
now cormier will fight duffee,arlovski or ion cutelaba 
maybe ufc should send some other heavyweight to strikeforce

Well said.People who whine about injuries in MMA never even played sissy sports like water polo.You will get injured in any sport and it’s normal that the most physical sport in the world will have alot of injuries.
am i the only one that literally laughed out loud when i saw title about another injury, lol. this is ridiculous.
i know its out of my control, but all these injuries are killing my love of mma…i mean, im no a pro, and i train hard as hell, and i dont get injured. they doin somethin wrong

I wanted to see him go night night. @marvelous in a perfect world i would agree that this would be a terrific opportunity for Dana to entice Fedor out of retirement with a fight like this. But i’m going with what Brucutu stated that Werdum will be the replacement. It seems more realistic.
Werdum vs Cormier would be interesting. I see Werdum getting knocked out, but you never know.
i think the fighters are trying to send a message to dana and the ufc ….they want more money….. ufc is nothing without fighters ….dana and the fertitta brothers are making billions …and the fighters salaries sucksss.. its time for a change ..

Man, what’s with all the hate on fighters. Yeah, Mir is scared! Sure! Don’t any of these pea-brains understand that because of fighter insurance, figthers don’t need to compete to pay their hospital bills anymore so they are more willing to pull out of fights these days.
the ufc puts so much pressure on these guys to win they train too hard and injure themselves.if the ufc would not cut fighters so often and let them work themselves back up then they would not be so desperate and might not over train and injure themselves.
