I wish him luck.

But, for someone that is notorious for not promoting his own fights, I don’t see this working out.

Well then don’t say that he is going to fu**in show. The reason 90% of the people there in the beginning were there to see Nick Diaz not the no name fighters. What a Di*K

Best wishes to Nick.

Hey Tweedle, the ONLY reason 95% of us are interested in seeing what transpires in WARMMA is BECAUSE of Nick Diaz. He is the reason why people care. People don’t buy that the fighters on the card are one step away from the UFC.

There is a reason why media want to talk to Dana at UFC events. He gives good sound bytes and knows the most of what’s happening with the events. When he isn’t there, it feels off. A promotion needs a face – you are not it. No one is tuning in because of Jonathan Tweedle. Sorry.

I do wish the promotion all the best but it’s a black eye with Nick not being there for the promotion of THE FIRST F-CKING SHOW. It says that he doesn’t really care enough or couldn’t be bothered – EVEN if you think it’s so his image doesn’t outweigh the fighters on the card.

“Not committed to doing anything.” —- sums it up.

The ring girl’s rack was sweet.

I made it to about the 8 min. mark when they’re trying to break into the car to get Nick’s right hand man and WAR’s version of Joe Silva to the fights…what a joke! they are not going to see WAR 3!!! When you have all your boys from the hood running the show how do you think this is going to turn out?!?!

I like Nick Diaz a lot, but I’m having a hard time viewing him as a legit promoter. If he’s going to get it to work, he definitely needs to 1) become a responsible media presence to let his popularity as a fighter bring an audience until a certain threshold of viewership has been surpassed, then 2) figure out how to leave the spotlight, because he obviously doesn’t like to be in it. Best case scenario, he becomes a behind the scenes manager n has a media front man, like the UFC. His awkwardness with the media made him an enigma during his fighting career, but he needs to have constancy if he’s going to try to play Dana White. Dana White catches a lot of flack for the way he plays his role in the UFC, but he’s far better at it than he is commonly given credit for. Starting with the fact that he can so easily brush off people’s distaste for his decisions. It makes him much more consistent and I think its quite respectable.
