Whenever Floyd decided he wanted to keep Cotto at range he had a pretty easy going, especially in the 12th, which was probably the most one sided round of the fight.

pacman only agreed 2 fight cotto at 146lbs, a weight that drained cotto to the point he was more worried about cutting weight than training. mayweather let cotto come in at his best weight 154while may weighed only 151. he beat the best cotto, pac had an easier time because he beat cotto before the fight by negotiating such a low weight for cotto

this was a badass fight. mayweather might be aging? i dk i jus wanna see mayweather vs pacquaio cuz i dont think mayweathers defense will be as effective against a southpaw who thros a s*** ton of lead straight lefts!

All day Money May. Floyed is the Best. Did u see Cottos face in the the locker room ? I think Floyed could have finished Cotto if he wanted to, but outta respect he let it go all 12 rounds. And to show the fans that he can still go the distance and more. I mean look how he dominated the 12th round. Cotto is still a beast dont get me wrong. I would like to see Victor Ortiz vs Cotto. Great fight! I agree with the outcome of the fight but not with all the scoring: 118 – 110???….that judge only saw Cotto winning 2 rounds? Oh well, the right guy won anyways….and Mayweather will beat Manny…hands down. Mayweather is a boxing phenom and a smart business man!…he knows how to play the “bad-guy” role so that he can get paid $$…i don’t blame him for it either.

Someday Mayweather will quit ducking Manny… they will fight, Manny will win, and boxing will end.

#1 both entourages,officials , judges and media..dont forget boxing is 100 000 times bigger than mma.
#2 because it is a true fight both men have the power and accuracy to kill eachother,and the agility to avoid one another, 12 rounds of action and no gay positions on top of eachother for 25 mins

#3 because if they used smaller gloves people would die , even the worst professional boxer has much much much muchhh better punching than any ufc fighter. and boxers get paid soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more.

I watched the May vs Cotto fight 5 times now and i cant see how Mayweather won. i get why he got robbed but Cotto took it 7rnds to 5.

Cotto bullied Mayweather, landed more (count the shots urself compubox is way off), cotto did more damage and made this HIS fight.
unfortunatly some people dont score body shots and Cotto landed more. The judges and Mayweather are all from Nevada. (Dont get thinkin im hating on the US wit this comment cuase Bernard Hopkins got robbed here in Canada Jean Pascal in their first fight by judges in Montreal). Their is a lot of money on the table for Paciauo and Mayweather.

1. if u are not a boxing fan or a fight fan dont watch this and than trash these 2 great boxers from ur keyboard.

2. (p1) Boxers are far superior with their hands but great hands also come from having great foot movement. MMA fighters cant use that type of movement in competition because they have more to think of than punches
(p2) boxing is a singular sport, such as wrestling. they have move concentrated training and usually start training at a younger age. (however kids are starting to get into mma younger now).

3. boxing and mma are different sports. boxers dont use open hand gloves because they dont grapple and they dont want to catch fingers in their eyes. (main reason for closed hand gloves). You are also more prone to breaking ur hands in mma gloves that has been proven.

4. Also has been proven that there is very little difference between getting hit by mma and boxing gloves in force being transfered to the person getting hit. Dont beleive me watch sport science.

5. Boxing is bigger than mma as a sport and has been around far longer. MMA is the new sport and has more techniques that can be implied which can be far more exciting to the eyes of casual fans and mma hardcores.

6. Real fight fans, boxing fans, fighters, and people that train can find boxing just as exciting as mma because real fans see and apriciate the differences. BOTH SPORTS ARE AWSOME. so stop comairing them

7. THEY’RE DIFFERENT SPORTS. Match up Jose Aldo vs Floyd Mayweather
(p1). Boxing- with bigger gloves and not being able to use all his techniques Aldo would get picked apart. anyone who says he would ko Mayweather just remember Mark Homminick is the same size, doesnt take punches as well and still wasnt finished by Aldo.
(p2). MMA- all of his skills in boxing dont prep u for kicks, knees, takedowns and subs. Aldo would tear him apart.

Bruno: I am not a Mayweather fan but I thought he won the fight early and late and that was enough. I did not go round by round and score it though. I just watched the bout more in passing.

Not trashing any boxer, but it is true – boxing is a dying sport. Less viewers are watching… look at the ratings compared to 10 years ago vs. those of mma compared to 10 years ago. 5 years from now, boxers will be moving over to MMA…

Don’t beleive sport science buddy.They also said thata punch on the ground is more powerfull then a punch standing up wich is the stupidest thing ever said.Just make these sicentists eat a standing punch and then hit them with a GNP punch,they will change their mind.They also said punching power comes from hand grip strenght wich is almsot as stupid as the punch tests they made.So basicly beleiving in sports science is the same as beleiving in santa.

I didnt know that about sport science. i usually look at a clip or two here and there on youtube and being someone that trains myself I 100% aggree that a standing punch has more force but crash test dummies are meant to be very accurate so I dont think everything on the show is false.
I dont completly aggree wit u saying boxing isnt a deadly art. i would deffinetly say ju jitsu is the more deadly art of the two but if u can die hitting ur head from a 4ft fall a punch most certainly can kill u.

I know boxing is deadly it’s the first martial art I ever did seriously.But the guy was calling BJJ gay positions right after I wacthed a decision.
