Like in every other ambit of life psychology makes the difference, and I haven’t seen any fighter with Velasquez’s focus, attention and concentration on the task. On top of his second to none cardio, he seems to be always focused and ‘in the zone’. No speculation no wasting time no looking at the clock, he is always ready for the kill and that is something hard to break and to beat.

I can’t call it.. giving the slight edge to Cain based on his cardio, & wrestling, but who do I WANT to win, I can’t say… They both are great guys outside the ring, may the best man win.

Everyone keeps talinkg about Cain’s cardio, but where has anyone seen him past the 3rd round. Is his better than Dos Santos? Of course. But, I’m not convinced just yet. That being said, he is still a bad dude. I’m stoked 4 this fight.

So your saying that moving forward and constant pressure is a judge of cardio. I think you have that confused with a lot of heart and a desire to win. I’ve seen plenty of guys that were gased and still moving forward. My point is that everyone says his cardio is second to none, but no one has seen him in the championship rounds.

Remember Kongo clipped Cain a bunch of times, dropped him a bunch of times so he’s not impervious to the punches. He just has to force that takedown but I think JDS’s defense is better thank Kongo…..this is gonna be good!

like dos santos a lot but cain has the wrestling en kickboxing advantage, dos santos probably has the speed but a few heavy legkicks can slow him down. either way, like them both…

This is gonna be a war!! Both guys are beasts and have big hearts. It sucks knowing that one of them is going to lose. I’m putting my money on Cain though bc his standup gets better everytime we see him. He trains at AKA, and they have been training beasts down there. Look at what all their fighters did at the last SF!! AKA really knows their boxing and MT in regards to MMA. Combine that with all the elite wrestlers there and JDS is gonna have his plate full dealing with a world class striker with great power, cardio, and supreme wrestling. I see Cain getting the takedown followed by a GNP clinic (If he doesn’t KO JDS like Big Nog first)and then repeating until he gets the TKO or KO!! (But JDS always has a punchers chance.)

Cain has great cardio because he outcardios everyone at AKA.Even the small guys.They tested his cardio on sportscience and they couldn’t make his heartbeat get faster by running.Stop trying to be “The Messenger of truth”.Cain has great cardio because he has great cardio.
