One of the biggest problems for Brett Rogers, is his ignorance of Fedor’s overwhelming talent and arsenal of skills. Obviously, Fedor’s experience fighting the highest caliber fighters is another big asset. He’s been thoroughly tested, his chin has been slammed, he’s been slammed by on his head by Randleman, he’s taken the kind of shots that know other fighter could handle and found a way to win. Rogers list of fighters, well who has he fought??!! Arlovski?
The statement that Fedor is just another man, is an admission of fear; whenever a fighter says that and has to talk a big talk you know there is significant doubt and fear. You won’t hear Fedor, or Anderson Silva speaking this way. Fedor will drop Rogers fast, like lightning. At best, this will hopefully end up making Rogers a wiser and more subtle and intelligent fighter down the line At worst, Brett will go back to changing tires.
Fedor isn’t “just a man”, nor was Michael Jordan just another basketball player. For Fedor this will be “just another knockout”.

dirty your a little confused, Fedor IS just a man, what else do you think he is Kryptonian? At the end of the day he is still a human being, you could say he’s not just another fighter but to imply he’s some kind of super human is ridiculous.

You cannot build someone up that much that you truly believe he’s invincible, plenty of Fedor fans will tell you that he has his weeknesses and he’s capable of being beaten same as everybody else. Now on the other hand I don’t think Rogers will likely be the guy to do this, but at the same time I agree with him and his trainer.

It’s one thing to build him up as a fan, but when your a fighter you cant allow yourself to build up your opponent that high in your mind before a fight because there’s a fine line between respecting your oppponent and his abilities and fearing him.
