Rogers will try to overwhelm Fedor in the first round. I’m sure Rogers will gas quickly so if Fedor can survive until then he will win.

Brett Rogers can get lucky with his striking skills to knockout Fedor, however, that is highly unlikely to happen. Fedor most definitely will knock down Rogers and the referee will call it quits as he did when he fought Tim Sylvia. If not, I see Fedor submitting Brett with an arm bar or kimura.

Obluso: If you only watched the Fedor vs Arlovski fight from that 1 camera angle on prime time, Fedor looked like he was getting batted around the ring. If you watch it from different angles many times like I have, you’ll see those kicks did NO damage at all to Fedor. He was just real loose and relaxed as always. That’s why he was able to knock Arlovski out so easily. In the post fight interview, he didn’t understand why ppl thought he was losing.

Rogers is a tough opponent but Fedor will win. Even if it turns into a slugfest Fedor is too good a striker to be dominated by anyone, remember how Fedor outclassed Crocop back when Mirko was droping his opponents? If Rogers makes a mistake and always Fedor to take him to the ground that will be end of the fight,arm bar, kimura,guillotine, neckchoke etc….

Fedor has too much experience and it doesn’t sound like rogers has really studied fedors fights hard enough.

I don’t like this fight. If Fedor wins, who cares? He’s fighting a nobody and that’s always a stupid decision, because if he loses his p4p status, his greatness, and his legacy all come into question. He should’ve gone to the UFC, at least they have opponents to fight. He did say this is just a job to him though, it’s not his passion. Fedor doesn’t care about being the greatest, and that’s why he didn’t sign with the UFC, because that deal was about money, not legacy.

The worst thing for the MMA HW division is about too happen. Rogers is going to land a lucky punch, the ref is going to stop it too early, and Rogers is going to hailed as the greatest fighter in MMA. Oooh the humanity!!!!!!!!!
