I like what kungfulowkick says! It’s so true, there are so many haters on here, and all they do is talk crap. I have a mad respect for MMA fighters, if you ever just done like a 2 minute drill in Jujitsu, you would know that s*** is no joke it will tire you out quick. These fighters are in mad shape and after all they put there health at risk for our entertainment so in my opinion they deserve at least our respect for that alone.

I have to say, I agree with KungFuLowKick, Grape Soda, and TransitionTR450. If you’ve ever done MMA sparring with anyone at the UFC’s level, or even just stand up or rolling sparring with those guys, you realize just how scary good they are.

The kid in the white might not be awesome (or hiding behind the internet’s anonymity), but unless you’ve done over a year of either standup or grappling, and done it 3+ times a week, I’d bet that kid would likely own you.

In North America,I’m sure 90% of the fans(who are mostly always MMA “experts”)never sparred or even trained in their life.And then they say stupid hatefull things because they don’t realise how good these fighters are because they never got beat by an amateur at their local MMA gym.

The kid did better than most. You can tell he’s trained a little. He kept his right hand up during the striking…checked a few kicks.

I would venture to say that a majority of MMA fans have never sparred a round of MMA in their lives … it makes you humble…and if it doesn’t then you need to upgrade your sparring partners.
