Fujita is known to have one of the toughest chins in all of mixed martial arts. Fedor is actually in trouble in this fight when Fujita gets in a solid punch and buckles the knees of Fedor. Fujita even draws blood from the champ which brings the crowd to a roar.

I dont know why people think Fedors so great, hes only fought a 1/2 good fighters, the rest are freak shows or no bodies.

Se how it looked like Fujita had a shot after he rocked Fedor… Well did you also see how fedor put this one in the bag really quick after that? I’m sure he could have gone in there and totally demolished Fujita in 30 seconds, he didn’t throw a kick til the last 10 seconds.
I don’t think Randy will fall for all of the submissions, if of course they fight??
eh… i guess he beat a pretty game opponent. i’ve yet to see a fight where i thought he looked any sort of the combination of super skilled, fit, slick, agressive, and determined that i assume he would be after all the hype i’ve heard. he looks mushy and tentantive.
i’m no huge fan of chuck liddel, but when he was in his prime (who knows, he may still be) he looked the part of a monster in his division who is totally out classing the competition.
i guess fedor will wait until he’s over the hill before he gives the ufc a whirl and we’ll never really know how he stacks up.
i actually think the alexsadr whoever guy outta pride looks more appealling.

FEDOR = UNSTOPPABLE
They guy has a very polished technique. Excelent hands, speed and timing, descent kicks, and of course his ground game and submission skills are top tier. I have great respect for Randy, but I think Fedor would beat him under UFC rules, and crush him under Pride rules.
Lets hope the fight actually happens so we can stop especulating!!!

Anyway, fedor is not overrated, hes beat nog 2 times, both times defintively, beat mark hunt, beat crocop when he was in his prime ( Dont care about what he did in ufc, look at what he did in pride ), beat matt lindlan, beat babalu sobral, beat kevin randleman, beat ricardo arona, beat mark coleman. Ufc is terrible, the cage is terrible, and everyone thinks that. Man has been fighting in a sqaure ring for the past 2 centurys, and before that it was a fucking arena. l2fightinaringnotcage imo.
all the fights in ufc are terrible and boring, only the main main events are entertaining. compare that to the recent yarreneko new years eve event, every match was exciting. and my personal favorite pride 33 which had nick diaz vs gomi one of the best fights ever, and wanderlei vs henderson which was also one of the best fights ever.
GO M1-Global, ufc and everyone else is terrible compared to you!
man for those of you that say fedor is overrated and using roids your just haters. To beat all these legit fighters and not lose once. And win most of the fights with ease. I bet after he beats randy yall will still say “he’s overrated”.I like Randy but Fedor’s game is more evolved. Not just wrestling and dirty boxing but hes got crazy submissions and u know it.
let me ask you mma fans like my self somthing,that punch fujita through was that hard it buckled fedor legs badly[looked like rubber legs].if randy couture through that same punch ,randy would capitalized and would of got a take down and took fedor to the ground and ground and pound him to a win or a submission win.Randy has the experiance and the skills to beat fedor don’t you think?

Randy is more likely the one on roids (44 and ripped) but I doubt that too and wouldn’t believe any of them were until it was PROVED otherwise.I can’t believe you even consider randy in the same class when really he’s only a good light heavyweight and has only beaten a couple of chumps in the last two years even admitting to using illegal tactics on Gonzaga to win.
Fedor has it all….great striking,grappling,ground work and can take punishment and carry on,Theres no way randy could take a shot like fedor did in this match and keep going and thats a big difference.
noobsl2fight, i totally agree on your opinion on UFC. man they give WAY TOO MUCH advantage for wrestlers…
1. we all know what wrestlers do in the fight… lay n’ pray… whole fuckin’ rounds without even trying to go for mount or side control it’s just fuckin’ half guard and ground n’ pound all day long.
and stupid elbows help even more, either fights get stop for bleeding which is ridiculous for both fighters and audience because audience are watching to entertain and fighters work their ass off for at least 2 months for the fight and seeing their efforts go to waste is terrible (i respect the stoppage for fighters’ health)
2. they dont have yellow card system to motivate fighters to fight nor refrees get chance to let fighters stand-up (rarely) which is why often fights go to decisions and 10 point system is just doesnt work with MMA… take downs always happen and they give way too much credit for it. on the other hand, Pride determines the match through who did how much damage and who control the fight as a whole
3. i start to see many fighters just fight to WIN the decision instead of trying to WIN the match. (i remember Josh Barnett said if the match goes to decision then it’s partially his fault for not finishing the fight. he said he always fight to finish which i greatly admire) Every fighter should fight to finish and i believe it’s their duty as a fighter.
3. no kicks to the ground opponent? wtf is that? even guy on the bottom can’t kick the guy. if they think soccer kick and 4-point knees to the head is too brutal, then why not at least allow Vale Tudo kicks? Vale Tudo kicks allow both fighters to kick each other when they are on the ground.
for example, the guy on the bottom could upkick the guy who is standing or in the guard.
4. UFC fans sucks… they boo fighters for ground game. Although i admit sometimes it makes me want to boo but u gotta respect the ground game (of course, that case is when fighter choose to stay in a half guard position throughout the whole match without attemp to pass the guard) and chant USA… bunch of apes…
Fedor shows just how good he really is, AMazinnngg how he chose to grapple his opponent after being knocked out of his rhythm causing his opponent no shot at a stunned Fedor. Im speechless, no fighter i know in this entire world does such a thing. Fedor really is the world top fighter of his weight class

i thought that it was common knowledge that The Last Emperor was the best. Period. 2nd tier?! Go back to watching pro wrestling!!! As for the much hyped and hoped for possible fight between Fedor and Randy… I mainly want to see it because I’m both a Couture fan and a Fedor fan, not because I have any kind of hope that Randy would win it. Go back and watch Fedor’s MMA fights and Sambo matches: Randy vs Fedor would be human against super-human.

lets get this straight, the cage is the worst thing ever created, l2 fight in a ring. fight gets to close to the ropes? your reset in the middle in same position. fucking guy hangs onto the ropes? little japanese dudes slap the shit out of your hands and shake the ropes. the ring is professional … the cage is dumb.
example: chuck liddel’s “legendary” take down defense and sprawl … FIRST of all, all he does is back up and then when he gets in trouble he doesnt sprawl he back pedals all the way to the cage, and then hangs on to the fence … and does he get warned or penalized for hanging onto the cage or are there little japanese men slapping his hands off ..? NO! even the refs dont say shit because its like calling a double dribble or a walk on MJ … you cant really do it unless its blatant … since hes the star of the sport … ( chuck liddel is A star of the ufc … not the sport … more like Fedor is THE star gg ) anwyay the cage is for terrible people only.

You know what I think should be done!… Does any one know what sanda is.. some of you will know…well they fight in raised platform.. without any walls.. no ropes or fences…its open.. I would like to see MMA matches held in that type of arena…. also in Sanda you get high points if you knock your opponent off of the platform.. maybe they could implement that too.
I heard there was an MMA organization that was going to bring something new to MMA like a special ring or something…. I honestly think they will go with the open ring concept… like Sanda

they should make a ring in the shape of a house :p2 90degree corners and the other side can have a few other 45 degree ones 
someone has difficulty doing math. 8 angles in a 360 degree area would mean each corner is 45 degrees. but besides that forget cornering a guy, i think that the ring is ridiculous, ive seen a guy get into a guillotine and literally fall backwards in order to fall threw the ropes and get saved. thats bull. and besides that the cage adds a completely different aspect to fighting that the ring doesnt. i do agree with many of the things said though such as i like the fact that they used cards in pride to promote excitement and the fact that all the dumbass fans boo, but other than that i like the cage and elbows.
