Tell me then seeing you believe that, why don’t those principles apply to HW’s in the UFC? Fedor is the consensus #1 HW fighter in the world, and no one (except Couture) ever attempted to sign where he was to prove themselves. That doesn’t make sense to me, he’s the best everyone ducks him, and he gets slammed for not fighting the best, you’ve got it completely backwards.

Brock’s first fight was in an organization tied to Fedor’s, he would have had a fight lined up with Fedor for sure but he chose to leave. Why is it ok for Brock or anyone else to avoid the number 1 guy, but if he doesn’t sign where you want him he’s no good.

Confusing stuff here, some double standards are being used by the fan boys out there.

Gegard was not even trying. You know M1 (much like WWE) told him to let Fedor win. Fedor was working his ass off and Gegard finally just let him have the armbar. I like Fedor…I really do. I say why not just have a kumate style tournament where any fighter from any organization can fight then we could see who the best really is…
But ’till then Fedor is a good fighter but I would like to see him fight people that would give him a challenge and eventhough there are ppl he has beatin in the UFC i still think that is where he would find his toughest competition. Dont forget about Mir,Couture,Lesner(sorry had to include him),Kongo and others.

Anyone who actually thinks that this is “real” needs to go back to 1st grade! This is an exhibition match paid off by M1. Like many before me stated, you could easily see that Gegard was barely trying, allowing Fedor to do whatever he wanted (not to mention you could see them talking to one another like WWF style). I’m not saying that Fedor couldn’t beat Mousasi, but the fact that Mousasi wasn’t even trying shows how this was a “paid off” shady ass event and just another indicator of how M1 operates.

All yeah, I almost forgot………”Brock couldn’t hang with Fedor for 1 round”. LOL!!!

The UFC has it’s flaws no doubt, but they are still the top organization and have the top fighters, just not “the top”, a lot of questions were answered when some Pride fighters came over, just not “the top” question!

can someone tell me how the best fighters in the world get ranked cause when i watch mma news and stuff like that i only see five of the ufc heavy weights on the list and i think 3 of the 5 should be on there but the other two shouldnt they are on the UFC’s top ten but ufc always says they have the cream of the crop cause it woul dbe dumb to say they dony and i just read that brock lesnar is on the p4p list in some ranking which is comeplete bull ok he is the champ which he did not work for the shot at the belt it was given to him cause of his name he is gonna be on the p4p list and that is not a question and who ever says he is not is an idiot and doesnt know a athlete when the see one but for now he has only had 5 fights and they all pretty much looked the same except for the hearing fight

That was some world-class, BIASED announcing there. They had the nerve to hype up Fedor’s upcoming fight against Brett Rogers and then in the same breath pronounce “Brock wouldn’t last five minutes with Fedor.” Now I’d like to think that Brock would have a little better chance (and certainly has better credentials) than Brett Rogers who’s only had one legit win over a shell shocked Arlovski. But this is typical fedor zealot behavior – they love to tout his victories over past UFC champs and yet find a way to discredit Lesnar’s dominating victories over 2 former UFC champs. Oh the smell of hypocrisy.

im a big ufc fan and dont really watch other organizations like strikeforce, elitexc, or wec, but I think the announcers are right on this one. I dont think Brock can take Fedor right now, but I do see Fedor slowing down quite a bit. I see Fedor beating Brock, but Brock would really beat him clearly!
