I’m more than 100% sure both fights were fixed. If it was real Hoost woulda used his kicks more. He would let Sapp tire himself out then chop him down.

Not sure about that second stoppage. Shame that Sapp is now content to take dives and pick up paychecks for that, but such is life. He’s entitled to ruin his reputation if he wants. Shame also for the fighters who’ve fought him, because in so doing, he brings down their names as well.

Sapp was a good fighter when he used to train. He began to throw some high kicks n’ high knees. He could deal with the Big Nog’s techniques in MMA, and the Hoost’s techniques in K-1. Now he’s just a freakshow but in the 2000′s he was great. Check his behavior in the Yamamoto’s fight and in his first tournament in K-1. For me Sapp is a legend who screwed himself because of his greed. Good potential, bad worth. Too bad…

i think you need to lay off the shwag and rethink your life. Hoost is one of the all-time greats and would dub your favorite fighter in a kickboxing match.

The reason for the losses: Hoost wanted to punish Sapp, so when Sapp was hurt Hoost let up on him to keep the fight going both times. Sapp has a lot of power that he caught Hoost. Sapp played the mind games with the pushing and shoving, and made it personal, that is why Hoost wanted to punish him. More lateral movement by Hoost would have helped as well.
