Guys a 4 time K1 champ and has like 120 fights or something like that and has beat the hell out of some tough guys…..I know age has something to do with it but losing to Sapp twice in a row must suck. Log in to Reply Greaz March 12, 2012 Before i saw this video my thoughts on sapp were he is a big joke, cant believe im saying this but now i can actually have some respect for the guy… Log in to Reply dankarelli March 12, 2012 ummm… how did he win that second fight via TKO? becasue all Japanese fights at that time were fixed. Sapp sucks, and Hoost sucked also. Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva March 12, 2012 Tankless because he used to take punches like a man. Log in to Reply hahaa March 13, 2012 Okay now here is a information for you guys. I know for some of you it is hard to understand because you are a little bit dumb but here it is anywas: Bop Sapp came to K1 and was just a big guy with a lot of power. Then after some fights you could see that he went to train and get some skills. Not very impressive but enough to have a little stand-up. Combined with his power that was quite dangerous. After that he discovered that he don’t need to train that much and hard if he just take some money to take a dive. Since then he is a diver for money. Watch the K1 fights of him and you will see what I mean. THRUTH ENDS HERE MF Log in to Reply DavidJones March 13, 2012 how cam a legit guy loose like this twice..sapp sucks. i dont get it. Log in to Reply steamer March 13, 2012 Hoost is the shit. That sucks he dropped 2 to Sapp. Sapp is a POS. I can respect a big man with skills, but a big guy that never develops as a fighter and relies solely on the fact that he’s big is trash in my book. Log in to Reply theduder232 March 13, 2012 Bob always had a good gas tank and sharp, clean punching. That’s how he beat Hoost. Log in to Reply rza808 March 13, 2012 That was Sapp all hopped up on roids too guys. That aint no joke. Hoost is a warrior and wanted to show that roid monkey that skill was necessary also…too bad he lost lol Log in to Reply valdemar March 13, 2012 Sapp ten years ago was really dangerous. In fact both Minotauro and Cro cop gained a lot of fame after being the first in defeating him in MMA and K1. Ok he had no tecnique. But a 160 kg brawler was difficult to beat for anyone at the time Log in to Reply OhBoy March 13, 2012 HOLY **** Bob Sapp can actually fight? wtf? Log in to Reply Mud Helmet March 13, 2012 you guys are thinking of the bobb sapp of today….try and remember the bob sapp that fought nog and hoost when he was in his prime. He was a force of nature. He is 350lbs of muscle throwing haymakers and jabs….hard to deal with Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick March 13, 2012 @steamer Exactly.Imagine how good he would’ve been if he tained seriously. But it’s also easy for a big bully who used his size all his life to just keep using that size instead of learning how to fight. Log in to Reply MangyMongoose March 13, 2012 The reason for the losses: Hoost wanted to punish Sapp, so when Sapp was hurt Hoost let up on him to keep the fight going both times. Sapp has a lot of power that he caught Hoost. Sapp played the mind games with the pushing and shoving, and made it personal, that is why Hoost wanted to punish him. More lateral movement by Hoost would have helped as well. Log in to Reply newmmfan1 March 13, 2012 @dankarelli i think you need to lay off the shwag and rethink your life. Hoost is one of the all-time greats and would dub your favorite fighter in a kickboxing match. Log in to Reply remcodesouza March 13, 2012 Sapp was a good fighter when he used to train. He began to throw some high kicks n’ high knees. He could deal with the Big Nog’s techniques in MMA, and the Hoost’s techniques in K-1. Now he’s just a freakshow but in the 2000’s he was great. Check his behavior in the Yamamoto’s fight and in his first tournament in K-1. For me Sapp is a legend who screwed himself because of his greed. Good potential, bad worth. Too bad… Log in to Reply bob hopeless March 13, 2012 wow, those were entertaining fights. Log in to Reply bob hopeless March 13, 2012 in the second fight, sapp broke his hand and had four cracked ribs. Log in to Reply bob hopeless March 13, 2012 hoost was 6-2, 238 pounds and sapp made him look tiny! Log in to Reply PitfighterZ March 13, 2012 Thanks, Bruno! 😀 All I can say is: easy money makes careers, but ruin fighters… Bruno: I hoped you would like it. Log in to Reply tobes March 14, 2012 Not sure about that second stoppage. Shame that Sapp is now content to take dives and pick up paychecks for that, but such is life. He’s entitled to ruin his reputation if he wants. Shame also for the fighters who’ve fought him, because in so doing, he brings down their names as well. Log in to Reply robj4y March 15, 2012 i loved that brawl ! couldnt stop laughing . a pure muscle slug fest is ok now and then haha Log in to Reply AKU March 21, 2012 I’m more than 100% sure both fights were fixed. If it was real Hoost woulda used his kicks more. He would let Sapp tire himself out then chop him down. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
