just watched the fight, boring and lackluster but brandon did win the first two rounds 10-9, he lost the 3rd round decisively, but it did not merit a 10-8 score. he fought back enough and defended the arm (barely) and that is was saved him a 9, as he did engage in the round. an 8 score is given to someone that is evasive in a round, pretty much to someone that doesnt fight due to fatigue or if they run from their opponent, which brandon didn’t do. any score below a 9 is very rare for good reason and this fight or 3rd round did not merit a score of 8.

He, didn’t tap, you people don’t realize that he only tried to defend the arm not intentionally tapping it. watch closely as it only moved toward the arm once. And one more, Its not suppose to be a 10-8 because he wasn’t knocked down as his hands didn’t touch the ground nor he fell from his back. he just wobbled. stop the Ignorance and the bitterness.

At least none of you guys are idiots like on sherdog and say Marshal should have won. I would have been ok with a draw but i had Vera winning if Maynard vs Edgar wasnt 10-8 first round im ok with this not being 10-8.

Brandon tapped. Also was a draw for sure if that didn’t happen but it did.

Brandon Vera did NOT tap, I watched it fast and slow to see if he did and he didn’t tap. This is an example of where slow motion can show the wrong result when you don’t also look at the real time replay. When you watch it slow sure it looks like BV is tapping but when you watch it fast and analyze it he is actually being attacked on his left arm, he uses his right arm to push off Eliot Marshall’s hands which in turn frees his left hand from being attacked, when that happens because they were both pulling so hard the tension was released on EM’s side and BV’s hand flew back toward him and waved which in slow motion looks like him tapping, but was not.

He’s back, b/c they don’t want GSP fighters anymore. Brandon brings it, and they’re trying to build that culture.
