Log in to Reply mmashburn April 24, 2010 hmmm…something isnt quite right about that whole situation Log in to Reply fishy April 24, 2010 It’s his last fight…it all makes sense now…he took the fall because he was just there for the check while trying not to get hurt. Unfortunately, he should have made that decision before stepping in the ring so we could see a real fight, because I love watching Aleks fight…He had to fight an emilianenko to find out he didn’t want to be a fighter…I find that somewhat ironic somehow haha… Log in to Reply Tapout T-shirt! Log in to Reply gazoul April 24, 2010 soeasy to tell that he’s not telling the truth, keeps looking in the same spot away from direct eye contact at the same time he answers a question with a lie. only truthfull thing he says is that its his last fight,he clearly made that decision before he entered the ring. Log in to Reply Tigeruppsercut April 24, 2010 Dude didn’t even get hit… disgusting Log in to Reply ETK April 24, 2010 If the body just doesn’t do what the mind desires then what is the point Log in to Reply ETK April 24, 2010 you have to have desire and motivation Log in to Reply gbone April 24, 2010 Good job Russia. I wonder if there were any 1st round KO bets going on… Log in to Reply practitioner April 24, 2010 I think he is telling the truth in his point of view. I see no reason why he would lie. He lost in a humbling way but I don’t think the match was fixed or that he was faking the knockout. The jab “barely” thouched and it shouldn’t have had the knockout power but it really seems that he was badly hurt and his brains forced him to collapse. He seems to be humble and I somehow respect him when he said “I am done”. Possible he hurt his eye for a couple of seconds? That could explain also. Log in to Reply junglerottjim April 24, 2010 fixed, ***** or dude wanted to get paid and get the hell out? hmmm Log in to Reply jsk14 April 24, 2010 no, he didn’t get hit in the eye, he freakin faked it, disgusting. the jab didn’t even land, even me a weak ass ***** would haven’t been KNOCKED out. maybe abit hurt. Log in to Reply dasfnkin April 24, 2010 Hes a bitch.. Log in to Reply joeboxer April 24, 2010 I don’t think he was lying. Peeps don’t understand fighting, you can get knocked out from a jab, it’s about velocity…your brain can smack the side of your skull, from the impact of a solid jab. Make take a few steps before the lights go out but it happens. As for not wanting to fight anymore, who knows what kind of damage he’s taken in past fights so or how many other times he’s been knocked out. Maybe he’s thinking i’m done with taking beatings i’m frigging getting knocked out by jabs. Log in to Reply jsk14 April 24, 2010 if you want to talk velocity, alright, he was moving backward, he also had his hand blocking the jab. so 1st point, the hand speed relative to the head was much lower than someone rushing in, or standing stationary. 2nd. his hand blocked the punches, so momentum wise, the mass of the fist has now lets say doubled. And lets assume his arm was completely elastic, you still get same momentum, m1v1= v2(m1+m2) but velocity of the hand is decreased signficantly which goes in hand with my first point. Log in to Reply shocktime April 24, 2010 If he did get hit he makes Arlovski chin look like it’s solid as a F’N sewer plate. Log in to Reply PitFighterZ April 24, 2010 @joeboxer: you’re right, it does happen and he is probably right about quitting. Whatever the reason, his career is over. But, I still think in this case it had more to do with his nerves than anything. He didn’t look so good before he got caught. He probably only took the fight to get some relief money until he gets a job. Log in to Reply White MMA Fan April 24, 2010 Good Job Aleks! Represent the Nazi Swastika! Log in to Reply capoeriafighter April 24, 2010 white mma that was the dumbest thing you can say you intolerant ignorant uneducated low life. Log in to Reply capoeriafighter April 24, 2010 its people like you thats giving the sport a bad name, and do you even know the roots on vale tudo and where it came from, even the fighting styles that fighters today use and where it came from? Other ethnic cultures, so why do you watch a sport or multiple arts that isn’t made by the “white”man if your going to be saying things like that. Log in to Reply Jrubin86 April 24, 2010 Its legit, if it wasn’t then this guy deserves an oscar, because his reaction to the hit, his fall, and then the reaction after he woke up was all spot on, great performance. Log in to Reply paddedummy April 25, 2010 WTF are you talking about? Nobody wrote anything about white mma. Aleks won with a JAB, which is a BOXING technique, which is a sport created by the white man dummy, lol Log in to Reply asdck April 25, 2010 HEY:capoeriadancer Capoeira is a dance not a fight, save your pretty kicks for the girls.
