Man, aside from getting rocked a little in the second minute, Alvarez controlled that entire fight. Don’t know why he chose to stand with Amade for that short time though, since he seemed to get him to the ground pretty quickly both times and dominated when it got there.

Sadistic referee though. Like Zescape said, if you have to ask that many times, just friggin’ call the fight.

Are you kidding me?… how many knees have you seen land compared to attempts in these vidoes from DREAM. Now compare that to the ration of elbow attempts/land in the last UFC event. EXACTLY!

Maybe the UFC like the bloodshed, that’s what elbows cause, something that knees don’t.

Anything to please the blood thirsty american audience.

Eddie is a beast, I’m sure this is a moot point and I have no doubt that he would have won anyway but it looked like towards the end Eddie blasted him with 3 or 4 rights to the back of the head. But like a said, its moot and it just sped up the inevitable.

Dirty 7-30, knees to the head from a north south position can cause paralysis. Elbows may cause more superficial damage like cuts but you have way larger muscles in your legs. Your leg muscles are used to carry your body weight. It just stands to reason that they generate more striking power. You can really cause permanent head injuries when thrown against a grounded target because of his prone position. BTW, you can really only throw elbows on the ground from a guard or mount position anyway where the opponent has a chance of blocking them. Where as knees you can throw from a side mount or north south where it is difficult to block.
