I feel I could beat any lightweight in the UFC also eddie ! but just like me YOUR NOT IN THE UFC AND NEVER WILL BE ! so do like me and STFU Log in to Reply Todd Spengo November 11, 2013 He can’t even beat the best lightweight in Bellator. Chandler beat him in every discipline. But those sharks at Bellator had to get the trilogy so… Log in to Reply concealedweaponclothing November 11, 2013 ^^^^ 2 dummies. classic ” fans “ Log in to Reply bigFishLittlepond November 11, 2013 Todd – I know the UFC is unhappy Alvarez put on a striking clinic against Chandler but get over it. Fact is Alvarez would be competitive against anyone in the UFC. AND… New Lightweight champion of the world! Log in to Reply kung fu k9 November 12, 2013 sure he does but nahh Log in to Reply Joker November 12, 2013 Yawn………and then he woke up.but no, seriously tell me when he and mike get into the UFC first. Good fight still. Log in to Reply mangymongoose November 12, 2013 While on the topic of Eddies, what ever happened to Eddie Bravo’s rematch with Royler Gracie? Bruno, do you know about that? Log in to Reply mangymongoose November 12, 2013 Just found out, it’s supposedly still happening although a date ins’t set. Log in to Reply icolater November 12, 2013 He deserves to be in the UFC, he’s been a top fighter for years, he also talks about the UFC a lot so I’m sure he would jump at the chance given the opportunity, obviously Bellator wont let there biggest draw go, so well never see it IMO, but I think he would be competitive in the UFC, but IMO would never be champ, can’t wait for Chandler v Alvarez 3. Log in to Reply High Stakes November 12, 2013 @concealedweaponclothing don’t talk sh&& bitch I know a lot more about this great sport then you do. Log in to Reply mmafan11 November 12, 2013 I like Alvarez & I understand Fighters will call out others and claim to be the best, no problem there. But Alvarez style taking so many hits is tailor made for someone like Pettis to knock his head off with one kick. Alvarez does not beat Pettis, Henderson or Aldo if Aldo moves to 155 as he said he would. Log in to Reply bigFishLittlepond November 12, 2013 Alvarez would beat Henderson just like Melendez did, but he’d lose the decision. The Pettis fight would be good and Pettis would have the advantage on the feet but Eddie’s wrestling and speed gets takedowns all day IMO. Log in to Reply Facefrack November 13, 2013 @High Stakes: First, it was completely ridiculous that your first statement was that Alvarez should “do like [you] and STFU. Clearly you weren’t doing that at all. Then, you continued on to talk more sh&& to concealedweaponclothing and, while I’m not convinced he’s got any deeply developed knowledge about this sport, I’m positive that you don’t. Delusional grandeur up inside your own mind isn’t translating into clear thinking, or the humble attitude that should come from it’s absence. I’m glad you like this sport anyway and think it’s cool to post. Just chill on the aggravated nonsense already. When I watched this fight, I wasn’t getting good fast-speed playback and really didn’t get a solid sense of who was connecting more. Both of them are beasts. Alvarez may have won, but it wasn’t dominant enough to really tell on my computer. They are both good enough that it would be really fun to see them matched up against the guys in the UFC. Log in to Reply jammyman November 13, 2013 E.A is an ok fighter nothing to separate him from the rest. But only time will tell. He deserves to be in the UFC though just to see how good he really is. He should fight Henderson in his first UFC fight. Log in to Reply Timzda November 14, 2013 Yeah well fact is you won’t beat any of them because Bellator owns you for life.
