first off I want to say they I plainly understand this was an interview that was geared toward making me like Soares. Second I’ll say I never had a problem with him in the first place so mission accomplished. I was never a sheep in the first place so herding me doesn’t do much. Good for him man. I always defended Dana and I’ll defend Soares for the same reasons….the only reason I have to hate on guys like that is that I wish I were in their shoes….and I’m just not like that. Good for them man. Hope and dream I can love what I do some day.

I met Ed Soares in Vegas last year. He was there with Anderson and while Silva signed autographs for fans for free in a shop in the mall, Ed was just hanging out with a few guys outside the store in the mall. I spoke to him and he seemed like an awesome, cool, guy and was more than willing to let us take a picture with him.

Soares is definitley capable of coming off like a douche at times. But I’ve never questioned his respect for the sport. He seems to do a good job at what he does. That being said, he does make a great heel manager type. It/he adds another element to the business and makes some fights more interesting.
