Oh please, like any commentators are worth much. The king of Captain Obvious is John Madden, and yet he’s revered like some sort of God for saying such pearls of wisdom as “It’s 2nd and 7. They need to pick up those 7 yards for a 1st down” and other such inane things. Color commentary should be left to the color commentators, and if 95% of the play-by-play commentators would figure that out, the games/matches/fights would be a lot more enjoyable.

My $.02 anyhow, heh.

LOL Taylor Fightmento…you ARE no english major…Rogan’s correct with “he’s hurt badLY”, it’s the majority of the populace of N.A., including yourself, who do not know their correct grammar

Also, LOL@ frank mir, how many times did he call the fight over becuz of the guillotine?…Well, 3rd time was the charm…

MMA commentators always suck because for some reason networks like using this lame balancing act of placing someone who knows their shi† (Rogan, Couture, Mir, Bas, Trigg) with some tool bag professional broadcaster (Mike Golberg, Mauro Renallo, etc.)

Todd Harris from WEC does alright, but the only MMA broadcaster i actually enjoy listening to is Stephen Quadros.

“Idiot announcer” is UFC former heavyweight champ, Frank Mir. He knows his stuff, but every time some one gets in trouble, he calls the fight.

Frank, if you’re listening, relax, take a deep breath, and call the fight as it’s happening.

Every one come down on Rogan for being captain obvious but at least he call the fight as it happens. And he says things like “he is hurt badly” over and over again. And I’m not an English major Joe, but its “bad. He is hurt bad.”
