This was one of the better fights of the night. It could have easily ended in the second round but time ran out. I wish we could get more fights like this one out of the UFC instead of the one-sided blowouts. It’s worth watching over a few times.
I have always thought that the bell shouldn’t save a fighter if he’s being submitted. The fighter should get out of the hold, and then the round is over.
Great fight! Definitely could have end on the 2nd Rd…Like to see more fights like this one…
Not taking away from Ed Herman’s victory but good point, Joe. In boxing the bell wouldn’t end the round if a boxer was knocked down they wouldn’t pick the boxer up and continue to the next round, they wait until the boxer gets up then the round is over. Same should hold true in MMA.
in boxing you can be saved by the bell actually.
