MMA fight video of Don Frye versus Yoshihiro Takayama at Pride 21.

Many people consider this to be the most exciting mma fight of all time. The fight was even reenacted in the 2005 Japanese movie Nagurimono. That movie also featured Rampage Jackson, Wanderlei Silva, and Sakuraba.

Now that is a slugfest. I admire their straightforwardness but do not understand why they do not protect themselves. Part of it looks almost like some of that silly american show “wrestling”, though obviously it’s not.

It was a chess match between two analytical tacticians. A highly thought out and technical fight indeed. They should both be commended for their humanitarian efforts. A nobel prize for amazing awsomeness at the very least.

Gerbil they are in a ring because this took place in PrideFC, all of the fights were in a ring. As for the holding each other….it’s called dirty boxing, pulling your opponents head forward into the punch so they cant lean away from the impact. I kinda miss Pride there were a lot of good throw downs. The nastiest submission ive ever seen too, when Renzo got his arm broke by Sakuraba. Good ol Pride, we’ll miss ya.
