Make it happen! Log in to Reply Xformat May 8, 2013 How could you more effectively take down and hold down Silva moreso than Sonnen? That’s an odd thing to say. Log in to Reply dominickcruzer May 8, 2013 Do not fight Urijah faber again he doesent deserve the chance. He is the most boring fighter in the UFC and should be cut from the roster. Urijah Faber vs Liz Carmouche in dim light!!! Make it happen!! Log in to Reply notmuchanalyzing May 8, 2013 I think Cruz is typically the best analyst as far his break downs go, but he fell short here. He didn’t mention whether or not Weidman’s jiu-jitsu could finish Anderson in the first round, making rounds 2 and beyond irrelevant. The difference between Chael and Weidman is that Weidman’s jiu-jitsu is light years ahead of Chaels, so if Weidman gets you on the ground, he can actually submit you. Remember, he gave Galvao all he could handle and has only gotten better since. He also failed to mention the mental game, and how Weidman has confidence and has trained to beat Anderson since he got in the sport. Cruz was too fanboyish and thus fell short of his normal brilliance. Log in to Reply Sean_V May 8, 2013 People still think that AS is only a striker…oh boy, poor Weidman if he thinks that… Log in to Reply notmuchanalyzing May 8, 2013 notmuchanalyzing…you are not a tv commentator…stop pretending to be. nothing is more annoying than people that try to talk like people on fox sports who have cue cards in front of them. Log in to Reply Lazer212 May 8, 2013 Cruz just make a f*cking prediction!!! Here’s mine, Silva keeps the belt. Log in to Reply Iron_Cobra May 8, 2013 Cruz owes uriah a fight. He signed a contract and after all that was said on the tuf show it needs to be resolved. Log in to Reply FailSonnen May 9, 2013 Wrestlers are boring for the sport. Strikers all the way. Weirdman is boring. I see Uriah Hall beating him in a rematch if he is focused enough Log in to Reply Facefrack May 9, 2013 I’m with Cruz on this one. In addition to Weidman’s pretty good jiu jitsu, he’s also got excellent ground n pound (like Chael), which he genuinely finishes tough fighters with. Mark Muñoz was dominated. Can’t wait to see what happens with this one! I can’t help but root for Silva, but Weidman is a deserving challenger. It would also be a pity if the pending superfights were disrupted. Get healthy Dominick. Log in to Reply hond2dciv May 9, 2013 Just figured out Cruz sounds like Mark Wahlberg. “Hey donkey, say hi to your mother for me, and your step mother.” Log in to Reply Joe Dog May 9, 2013 Who is Dominick Cruz anyway? Did he used to be a fighter? Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick May 9, 2013 @notmuchanalyzing Chael won silver in ADCC.Weidman is not light years better then Chael on the ground.Arguably he’s not even as good in grappling as Chael. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick May 9, 2013 @Iron_Cobra Faber will need to have some really spectacular wins to get a title shot. He’s 0-5 in his last 5 title shots. Some fighters don’t even get half of the opportunities he gets.I’m tired of seeing Faber in a title fight 1 fight after he lost his last title shot.
