Best fight of the show IMO. Diego is still good, but not great. I like him, but I can agree with some of the criticisms earlier posters mentioned.

Diego’s standup is terrible.

Just an FYI.

Sloppy punching, head straight up in the air, always open, weak kicks. Yuck.

Luigi Fioravanti sucks ass and Diego really couldn’t do much with him for the majority of the fight.

Diego will never win shit, mark my words.

He can’t beat Koscheck, Fitch, Alves, GSP, Shields, and maybe even Condit.

The dude has no standing game, no leg muscles and a weak/telegraphed shot, pair that up with sub par wrestling, what we have here is a jiu jitsu/gnp specialist with excellent cardio but nothing particularly threatening.

Diego is going to win nothing aside from a look-alike contest being Richard Ramirez’s doppelganger.

Disappointment considering how awesome the Parisyan and Diaz fights were. Maybe I’m just missing something, but his standup looks shit, his wrestling looks shit, and he just looks like his defensive game aside from submissions is weak.

Diego!!! Looking better then ever. He has more heart then just about everyone in the cage. Only a few people have it like diego. That luigi guy seemed to be stronger but diego out worked him. And diegos chin got cought a few times with out phasing him. Strong mexican chin!LOL

Diego has the best cardio in the game..he’s fresher in the 3rd round than most guys are in the 1st….
