Log in to Reply PitfighterZ April 14, 2012 Thanks, Bruno! You rock! There is no 1st round, but the fight was really close and I can see the judges giving the nudge to Siver for being a little more effective and a little more aggressive (kept control of the center). Awesome fight! Siver finally looked like he was fighting someone his size… Log in to Reply PitfighterZ April 14, 2012 @FailSonnen: Yes, all 3 judges agreed it was 29-28 to Siver. Split decisions only occur when one of the judges gives the fight to the other fighter. Log in to Reply murell April 14, 2012 Two Tough Warriors right there! Nunes slowed down at the end Log in to Reply kingdean April 15, 2012 hell yeah! glad to c Siver get the win. love watching this guy fight Log in to Reply dave April 15, 2012 Unanimous was defiantly not fair! Log in to Reply jaydog April 15, 2012 Siver made his shots count and the little takedown in the second probably gave it to him. Very close fight. Log in to Reply Yh3d00d April 15, 2012 We’re missing the first round lol. And I had both rounds for Nunes… he clearly won. Log in to Reply Dirty April 15, 2012 Siver dominated oh daddy Log in to Reply 1on1 April 15, 2012 I saw 2 rounds that Nunes won Log in to Reply robj4y April 15, 2012 great battle, great kicks. coulda gone either way Log in to Reply Corey April 16, 2012 How either way? Siver may have kept the center of the octagon, giving the idea that he was controlling the cage… but his strikes were definitely not as effective, and he wasn’t pressing the action, nunes was. Bad call IMO, nunes was the one doing damage, I had him winning the two rounds I saw. That take down in the second didn’t inflict damage, and Siver didn’t inflict any damage after he took him down… so it doesn’t count for shit to me, and any judge who’s ever been in a fight would agree. It’s stupid that they award more for someone getting the upper hand on a scramble, then they do for someone landing a vicious spin-kick. Log in to Reply JJ April 16, 2012 close fight but there is no controversy. I saw Siver winning also. They both rocked each other once – Siver rocked Nunez in last seconds of the fight – and Siver finished stronger. He was also more aggressive and controlled the center. 29-28 is exactly right, I was only worried that they could give it to Nunez, but they rendered a perferct decision this time.
