In the pre-fight Bermudez was going on about wrestling being superior to jiu jitsu. Then he gets his arm broken. Log in to Reply Rick December 3, 2011 Thanks B for the fast upload. Beautiful jiu jitsu right there! one mistake and Diego took advantage of it even though he was in vulnerable position. Log in to Reply mmafan400 December 4, 2011 I could see that armlock from a mile away.. He was going for it the entire time….but what a douche just breaking it, before bermudez had time to tap… Log in to Reply bobbo December 4, 2011 damn good fight. Both of these guys will be top 5 in their divison for years to come…I look forward to their next fight ….the will fight again at some time in the future. Both fighters should have nice careers in the UFC. Log in to Reply kaobeto December 4, 2011 That’s why you need BJJ in your arsenal. Log in to Reply yk December 4, 2011 surprise fight ! Log in to Reply nel December 4, 2011 It was a great fight. hopefully with the UFC on FOX all of these tormenting delayed shows for the west coast will stop. Log in to Reply BagofPunches December 4, 2011 That shit was insane, to pull a fast one like that after getting rocked, he said he was praying a lot before the fight, apparently there is a god, and he favors Jiujitsu. On a serious note the kids a bad ass, saw a lot of people whine how he was too reckless and had no skills(seriously, you do not instruct in jacksons camp and have no skills, unskilled is not in the vocabulary of jack sons fighters)and while I usually don’t like, hate or even admire most fighters Diego seems to have a good heart and I know a lot of people think no diploma, college or university degree = Less intelligent than one that does or to some even a Dumbass but this guy is hell of a lot more intelligent than people realize, speaks english better than most Brazilians that i know and most pro fighters that I see on tv, and is just 24 and a black belt under jacksons camp, they just don’t give those away and quite frankly it is probably harder to get a black belt there than it proabably is in of of the many Gracie schools down here. Log in to Reply ringman December 4, 2011 wow…what a fight. That kid is going to become a monster in this sport. Log in to Reply kbf December 4, 2011 should have been the main event. Better be fight of the night! Log in to Reply DD December 4, 2011 Jeez that was crazy! Great fight by both guys! Log in to Reply CycloneX December 4, 2011 Good fight! Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick December 4, 2011 Another boring Greg Jackson fighter… Log in to Reply gunnyhighway99(Panama) December 4, 2011 Crazy fight, crazy power for the Brazilian. Log in to Reply WTFson December 4, 2011 The two will add more firepower for the ufc they had a nice showing and they earned people’s respect and mine as well. Brandao is a lunatic man he loves smashing people and dennis brought his A game as well can’t say the same for the headliner! Log in to Reply Tempted December 4, 2011 Wow guys, I think Diego tapped at 0:16… I’ve got it recored on my HD DVR and just watched it in super slow mo. His right hand first waved, then tapped Dennis’ left shoulder blade. I don’t think I’m seeing things, but maybe. Log in to Reply Grape Soda December 5, 2011 Jesus BOTH these guys are freaking KILLERS considering its their 1st UFC fight ever. Log in to Reply Lodovik December 5, 2011 @KungFuLowKick rofl. But who knows what will happen to Diego now that he started with Greg Jackson. Log in to Reply JJ December 6, 2011 yeah – great, great fight. It was going the way I envisioned, until Brandao pulled that armbar. I had Bermudez knocking him out in 1-2 rounds. I didn’t buy into Brandao hype and actually made an effort to check his record – to find out that he’s knockoutable. He got caught silly to be honest, got overexcited, left his arm completely vulnerable, and Brandao was already recovering. It’s a great learing experience for Bermudez but a very painful one. If there is a rematch I put my money on Bermudez 1st round ko. He will come back 2 times stronger and make a good career in the UFC Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
