damn good fight. Both of these guys will be top 5 in their divison for years to come…I look forward to their next fight ….the will fight again at some time in the future. Both fighters should have nice careers in the UFC.

That s*** was insane, to pull a fast one like that after getting rocked, he said he was praying a lot before the fight, apparently there is a god, and he favors Jiujitsu.
On a serious note the kids a bad ass, saw a lot of people whine how he was too reckless and had no skills(seriously, you do not instruct in jacksons camp and have no skills, unskilled is not in the vocabulary of jack sons fighters)and while I usually don’t like, hate or even admire most fighters Diego seems to have a good heart and I know a lot of people think no diploma, college or university degree = Less intelligent than one that does or to some even a Dumbass but this guy is hell of a lot more intelligent than people realize, speaks english better than most Brazilians that i know and most pro fighters that I see on tv, and is just 24 and a black belt under jacksons camp, they just don’t give those away and quite frankly it is probably harder to get a black belt there than it proabably is in of of the many Gracie schools down here.

yeah – great, great fight. It was going the way I envisioned, until Brandao pulled that armbar. I had Bermudez knocking him out in 1-2 rounds. I didn’t buy into Brandao hype and actually made an effort to check his record – to find out that he’s knockoutable. He got caught silly to be honest, got overexcited, left his arm completely vulnerable, and Brandao was already recovering. It’s a great learing experience for Bermudez but a very painful one. If there is a rematch I put my money on Bermudez 1st round ko. He will come back 2 times stronger and make a good career in the UFC
