I ain’t impressed.. maia became lnp fighter, he used to sub them vatos and earn that sub bonus left and right homie, and now.. wtf is this.. master dorea has also improved his boxing where was it last night.. maia you ain’t gonna fight anderson or any of the top guys with performances like that any time soon holmes

really did not seem as if either one of them were going for the kill…Almost like a sparing session.

Maia was absolutely disappointing, like he was completely off or something. The guy is the best BJJ practitioner in the division and he couldn’t figure out how to pass that lazy guard? For a second I thought Sonnen learned more from their fight than Maia the way he passed Stann’s guard at will.
I know Santiago is a great BJJ fighter, but those little jumps on the ground and his bull-rushes standing up made it look like he was in a bar brawl after the 10th shot.
Well, I guess everyone has the right to have a bad night…

That was the best defensive BJJ guard i think i have ever seen in MMA. He was giving Damian fits as he tried to pass. Too bad Jorge could not get any offense going. I say let Maia and Chael go at it again. Chael doesn’t deserve Anderson. Or even give him Vitor.
