Close fight, but I had it 29-28 McCall with him winning the first and this (Obviously.) I could also see the first being a draw though, but whatever great fight.

Wow. Great fight. DJ didn’t win though, you could tell by his face, he only got hope when he heard the first judge and knew it was going to be split, then he know he had a chance of winning but before that he knew he had lost.
Still it was cool to see how much these 2 respected eachother. Class acts by both.

Really close fight.I would have to rewatch the 1st round because that’s the closest one.I thought McCall won because of the 2 takedowns.DJ landed a bit more but one of the 2 takedowns had a decent impact and he worked on the ground.I would have to count every strike to be sure but I’m not mad DJ won it was a really close fight.If we judged all the fight as 1 round McCall is definetly a winner but round by round I definetly see no problem in DJ winning.I would love to have a ½ point system.1st round would have to be 10/9.5 for whoever you think won the 1st.10/9 for DJ in the 2nd and 10/8.5 in the 3rd for Creepy mustache.

As long as the boss of the judges is Keith Dykezer he won’t get farther with judging.He thinks there’s no problem in having the same judging system then boxing.What an retard.MMA is definetly needing half point systems.Boxing is easy to judge.The guy who is outstriking the other is wining 10-9 and you get one point off when a guy gets droped.Evene a 6 year old retard can judge boxing.MMA is much more complicated.it definetly needs the half point system to be more accurate.Anyway you would see it in a half point system,it’s a draw or McCall wins.Also if we judge the fight in a whole McCall absolustly won.They should have to chose between a half point system or a fight judged as a whole or even other good sugestions but get rid of that 10-9 shitty system.And get rid of incompetent judges.To judge MMA you should have at least some amateur MMA experience and or experience in grappling AND striking.And not only boxing,Kickboxing.Also by experienced I mean atleast 5-6 years of of good constant training MINIMUM 8-10 hours a week.Or else you’ll end up with idiots who give 30-27 in really close fights.

Real serious question: what can we as fans do to put pressure on the commission to get a friggin overhaul to judges, the system and the refs? Our loyal money is helping to keep sports as a real entertainment going. Baseball, basketball and football is slowly losing the luster. And if stuff dont change with MMA officiating it could happen with it. Frankly they are actting the way they are cuz they cant control the UFC or Dana White.

There will be a re-match. DJ knew he had lost the fight and was stunned to win it. Close with rounds 1 and 2 split between them. Round three no doubt – even a possible 10-8 score, which did happen. Miscalculation of the score cards is now being reported. Ended in a draw – re-match to come. Mistakes do happen but this is not acceptable. They even had a sudden death round they would have been able to fight. The good news is the fight will take place again and the official draw is declared.

@kaution187: If you have the time, check in the who funds the Athletic Commission in your state (or the Las Vegas one, as it is the most important anyway) and bring the names back here to this site. If we publicly start boycotting some of their money sources and send them some communication explaining the reason of the boycott, I am pretty sure they will start rethinking the rules pretty fast.
