Not sure if I would count Cormier out just yet, Big Foot struggled in the 1st round with Mike Kyle another small HW and Cormier has much more dynamic striking and we already know about his wrestling.

I kindof like this dude, he’s been through ALOT of personal sh*t. I think he does need to drop to 205 though…however, he DOES have a chance to win he definitely aint a slouch…

Cormier is the best underdog out there to drop a few hundred on….I think he surprises a lot of people here and wins this fight, outclassing Silva in grappling

Mywebber I wouldnt count out Cormier he could win the whole tournament unfortunately for him he has to face Barnett at some point who should be better at everything.

Dude likes to eat and has had some kidney issues in the past. I don’t see him dropping to LHW unless absolutely necessary.

I totally agree… this guy is def no slouch. Besides his body habitus, Cormier has great all-around technique in the wrestling and stand-up. He’s was an Olympic wrestler, it may be to his advantage to take Silva to the mat (eating a few punches on the way) and doing his damage that way. I highly doubt it, but if this fight goes to a decision (somehow), I would pick Cormier to outpoint Silva.
