I absolutely love the team aspect of the training camps. People think that it is not a team sport need to look at Danny Castillo’s emotions after his loss, and his excitement after Urijah won.

And the team aspect is one of the things that turns me off about mma and makes it more of a sport than a martial art which is more of an individual pursuit. The way everybody goes around shmoozing, shaking hands and hugging (even opponents)bugs me as does the politics and sucking up to the boss. It seems like a violent, asocial, misanthropic, individualist rebel, outlaw with poor impulse control can’t work for the UFC and make any money in this game so we don’t get to see alot of “killers” fight which means we don’t really know who “the ultimate fighter” is.

@paddedummy That is a creative argument.
