I like Dana, but he says some stupid shi t sometimes. The Klitschkos have only dominated the heavyweight division for a decade yet they’re a joke….riiigghhtt. Call them boring or calculated if u will, but a joke they are not. And if the division is weak on talent in comparison to historically speaking; thats not their fault either.
Everyone has a strategy to get on the inside and throw bombs…then they feel the first jab and say ‘ohh shhhitt’. Yep, in for a long night bitch.

It seems like Dana forgot about Diego Sanchez’s last fight. I don’t mean any disrespect by that, but it really did seem like he totally forgot that Diego fought six months ago.

I don’t give many sh1ts about boxing, but I’ve certainly seen enough of the Klitschkos fights to know they are no joke.

Bruno posted a Tyson / Shannon Briggs clip the other day. Dana should go watch Briggs vs Vitali Klitschko again. Briggs was 38 by that point but had just come off 3 KO wins…. Vitali brutalized the hell out of him.

Fedor, Fedor, Fedor. Why the continuous discussion about whether Fedor was the best P-F-P fighter etc???? Why can’t Dana and company just accept that Fedor was one of the most entertaining fighters to watch, ever. He endured beatings, he knocked out many, he submitted many more and did it all without drama. He came to fight, always. That’s his legacy. It’s pretty certain that Fedor would get smoked by Velasquez or Dos Santos today, but, recall that Fedor beat more than one ex-UFC champ in his prime. MMA evolves quickly and better athletes join it’s ranks further escalating the competition.

Dana pimps his brand too much (UFC) and is so dishonest about nearly anything outside of the UFC because he’s so busy trying to hustle the UFC brand name. If one of the Klitschkos joined the UFC Dana would be the first to claim he was the best striker on the planet, no other fighter had a chance at beating him etc.

So predictable.

Dana is absolutely correct..why people hate on him just baffles me..I come from a construction background and he speaks my language clearly..he speaks his mind at the time and it’s hard to argue with his common sense logic which is the only religion that I adhere to

@Joe Dog- You don’t get it. Its not that better athletes are fighting now,its they are being better trained earlier on. You take a top fighter from the very beginning and place him at his prime with todays methods and he would be right up there guaranteed. Fedor at his prime would be right up there with cain and jr.

Well, Werdum is 9 months younger than Fedor and Hendo is a bit older, so it’s not like Fedor was beaten by the next generation of fighters. To me, he was a great talent, but he totally ignored the evolution of the sport. The dude just never made any adjustments, which led to his very fast downfall. That’s also the reason I don’t rank him up that high, he simply never left his comfort zone, similar to BJ Penn.

prime fedor would be fighting for the belt for sure. As Fedor got older he became a stand-up fighter. prime fedor was grappler/gnp/subber

The pressure also got to him. Hendo fight he was going madman berzerker mode. he lost his patience, he stopped taking guys down and mixing up his attack.

Do not know why those idiots never rematched Werdum. would of helped him mentally to avenge that loss. a calm patient fedor mixing up his attack can hang with anyone in the world.

I love Sanchez but I don’t think he has looked very good for some time I thought he lost his fights with Gomi and Kampmann and didn’t look very good against Ellenberger. He has only been fighting once a year since 2010 at the top level you must stay more active than that or you will have ring rust every bout which looks to be the case. I haven’t been impressed by him since his Paulo Thiago fight 3 years ago. I think Melendez will destroy him cause Diego can’t take him down and Gil has too much fire power for him standing. Hope i’m wrong cause I like Sanchez but I wouldn’t bet on him in this fight.

I know the island Dana flew to in Venezuela, an old buddy went there, it’s gangster island for sure. Massive mansions with whores, baller s***. Dana’s “meet” story with Fedor is gonna be crazy interesting. It’s pretty obvious Fedor was managed by Russian Mob, high level. That’s prob one reason, they weren’t hurting to sign with UFC. Either way Dana’s story gonna be cool as F***, mercs and all!

Wish Dana would just keep his mouth shut or retire.
