i agree BJJNerd, dynamic striker v dynamic striker is definitely a better fight. But, GSP is already known for being a weak striker, its a proven fact. Anderson silva wants an easy fight, and if he were to lose to GSP at a catch weight on account of GSP laying on him the whole time the risk is much less then the reward. So he won’t fight Jon Jones which is the more reasonable fight since Silva has already had some fights in that weight class because that is much more of a risk. Its pretty obvious when you think about it.

Sonnen doesn’t finish much either yet he dominated Silva for 5 rounds.. Yes he got caught in a triangle, but GSP is too smart to get caught in a submission like that. I wouldn’t count GSP out against Silva even though I don’t think he would win. I think it could still be a good fight.

It’s funny how people talk so big of hendricks. You guys always talk big about people that will def. LOSE against GSP. Koscheck, Alves, Fitch! When will you learn that it requires much better talent than people like Hendricks to beat GSP. I’m thinking of people like Rory and Condit.. Even though Condit just lost.

I think it would be a really great fight to see Diaz vs. Silva. That would be much BETTER.

people talk to much sh*t about dana this mans life is ufc 24/7 without dana ufc would not be what it is toay hes turned the ufc from nothing to the best.and yes silva vs jones makes more sence but they both seem to not want to fight other so the gsp fight is probally what is going to happen i think gsp would win a five round hump decission.look what chael did to silva and gsp is a much better wrestler you do the math silva can only win this one if he keeps it on the feet and i dontn think he stand a chance againts the best wrestler in ufc

It seems there is plenty of work left for Silva at MW. These “super fights” which are bound to be catch-weight fights don’t appeal to me. Does anyone really think Jones could loose to Silva and Silva could loose to GSP. The only real winner in these fights is Zuffa. A. Silva needs to sincerely clean out ALL of the MW division before any of this nonsense. How do you spell Zuffa? *W* *W* *E* Keep it real.

GSP can’t finish a 170er and Silva finishes every 185er. I think GSP will have his hands full with Hendricks. Silva v. Jones is the much better fight.
