Dana White Talks about GSP and Rory MacDonald not wanting to fight each other in UFC 158 post press conference interview. Say the UFC has been good to Rampage Jackson. Does not know why he is not happy with them.
Cool, I like listening to Dana.
I would be curious why the UFC has a problem with Reebok sponsoring Rampage. Dana was a pretty vague in his response. All he said was we didn’t approve of it. What’s so wrong with Reebok, I mean they may have lost Rampage some serious $ on that.
wil this idiots of reporters ever use their microphones to record their questions too??? speak to the micro you f***!!!
Dana cool as allways! even so short after his surgery.
rebok is a direct competitor of nike, which sponsors a bunch of fighters.
2013 is going to be a great year with lots of mathcups we’ve all been waiting for. I hope the Alvarez deal gets sorted out soon so we can see him in the UFC.
why not do a show in the hometown of Diaz bros! Stockton, CA baby! 209!
@p4p I realize that there are many sporting apparel companies in existence. Do you really think that no UFC fighter should be allowed to wear anything other than Nike simply because a small handful of fighters have a Nike sponsorship? I’m pretty sure Nike is not a ‘UFC sponsor’ which would be a little different ex. Bud Light vs Coors Brock Lesnar. As long as they are letting fighters choose their own gear, they should be allowed to choose their own gear, ya feel me? Otherwise force everyone to use UFC gear only instead of picking and choosing who gets to wear what on a case by case basis.
Question, do you think they would stop GSP from wearing Reebok?
@kukuklay and @ktktk
Im not 100% but i suspect NFL signing with Nike and nfls ties to fox plus lots of those other sport wearing companies done want to see competiton in the advert part of UFC backdoor and kicbacks probably whats up.
