well it’s good to hear that he wasn’t all strung out on drugs and alcohol at least. Here’s hoping he gets the help he needs and is back with his family soon.

I was reserved on my thoughts until I had some more info about why the erratic behavior of Rampage. If he was strung out on a coke binge I would have lost all respect for him. Either way, it is sad what has happened and hopefully he will get it back together. I am not a huge Rampage fan but I do enjoy watching him in and out of the cage. He’s a tough guy so he will bounce back.

Good luck Rampage and to your family. I’m paraphrasing, but Bruce Lee said that once you’re at the top, you’ll sure fall one day. However, you don’t have to stay at the bottom. The choice is up to you. Good luck bud!

Say what you want about him as a fighter but Rampage, by all accounts, is a quality guy and I hope he comes out of this for the better.

Not that he reads this but if he does, Rampage, good luck.

I feel Jackson made a business agreement, an agreement to do something for money that went against everything a fighter is about, and he’s massively conflicted about it now. Note how in the interview posted a couple of threads ago he kind alluded to a conflict between working for god and working for the UFC, but kinda said “just kidding…”

It has to be devastating for a fighter with so much pride to have a whole week before a fight to think about what’s going to go down. Money’s money, but still. You could see in the interview that he was trying to justify that-which- he-wasn’t-directly-saying by saying it was worth it for the money, that his friends and family would benefit from it and so on.

I hope he can live with himself at some point and get on with his life. God knows no one else in the organization is paying any price — a testament to the credulity of UFC fans.

It sounds to me like Dana is not expecting Rampage to ever fight again. Apparently, from what he saw when he bailed him out, he was that delusional. I keep thinking that Dana must have viewed Rampage speaking to angels or something, to make him talk about how Rampage is “Very religious…(stops himself).

Well, I hope they find out what is wrong with Rampage and he regains his health, even if he never fights again.

There is a very fine line between Sane and Insane, it just takes a chemical imbalance that could be triggered from head trauma

I am not a Quinton fan at all, but this goes way beyond MMA Fighting. As a Human Being and as a Martial Artist, I hope he gets ALL the help he needs and is able to enjoy the rest of his life with his Family. Safe and sound. Best of luck, Quinton.

I dont care if you like him as a fighter or as a person. But just say a prayer for Q. Jackson. Not for him to come back to the UFC but for him to get his life back on track. Cause thats the more important thing.

There are several studies about head trauma, and people becoming delusional. Who knows?????? Maybe his brain is in the type of condition Chris Benoit’s was in when they did his autopsy.

There are also many studies that show becoming religious/spiritual often go hand in hand with the brain damage that head trauma and concussions can cause.

Or maybe he just lost it from all the fame/pressure/loss to Griffin, etc.

And for all those people who think Chris Benoit’s breakdown was from steroids……stop watching Nancy Grace and check out some real news, LOL.

Quinton Jackson is a man before he is a MMA fighter, and like all men he has weakness. I believe he is a strong enough of an individual to overcome his weakness, and I wish him nothing but the best. Love him or hate him as fighter you have to respect him as a man. I don’t care if Rampage ever returns, as long as Quinton Jackson does.

dana white is a piece of shit, he ruins every fighter that walks in the ring, he’s like a don king. he says fighters cant take the fame and baggage that comes along with being a fighter, well he creates that shit. there has never been a more corrupt fight organization than the PRESENT ufc, not the PAST, the PRESENT, and that is all dana white, hope his rien soon comes to an end and the ufc might become what it used to be. HONESTY.RESPECT.
