Look at how Diaz is in GSP’s head though… after the press conference, they squared off as well and GSP was mimicking Diaz’s body language like he was a little boy… and here again, you see GSP mimicking Diaz by doing the exact same flex as he is- literally watching Diaz’s movements and mimicking him… That could actually be a bad thing for Diaz, I wouldn’t want someone like George having that kind of bizarre fascination towards me LOL

With Diaz involved, this whole thing has been a media circus. And if he wins tomorrow times that by 10 lol. I admit, part of me would like to see that. GSP looks so different during his fight compared to weigh in. He looks skinny super skinny here. Come fight time he looks like his muscles have muscles blown up with air. 170 to what 195 come fight time? so crazy 25lbs gained in less than 24 hours.

I noticed the same thing about Pierre’s body language, he’s actually been doing it all along, even they way he’s been answering his questions, he’s been on Diaz’s hands all along, DIaz in his head deep, but it dozen;t mean he will lose to Diaz though. When you practice Kyokushin Kai karate, GSP started as a Kyokushin Kai fighter, you are thought to do everything both side equally, left and right.
If you have to do 500 left kicks, you will have to do 500 right kicks. The student most learn to change his stance all the time.
We actually drills on hip twists with and without kicks. Similar to Taekwondo hip techniques.
You get to land kicks or switch stance on both side much faster.
That is for Kyokushin Karate.
Intense, but I think that the only thing missing with this art is the hand strikes to the head. You just don’t train for it.

I think the discomfort that we are seeing in St. Pierre is not so much nervousness, but him trying to contain the serious animosity he has towards Diaz. We all know how much he plays the poker face, but this one is more difficult to hide. Come fight night when he can let it all go, I think he’ll be just fine.
