Log in to Reply Acrilawl December 12, 2011 After all of his atrocious performances and being DOMINATED, yea we haven’t forgotten, DOMINATED by Chael Sonnen, how can anyone in their right mind put Anderson Silva over GSP, who hasn’t lost a round in years, or Jon Jones who has decimated everyone? These Silva nut huggers need to kill themselves. Log in to Reply TKoO? December 12, 2011 I said in the Pride days if I ever see this prick on the “open” I will do my best to KTFO him. Log in to Reply Sean Wooldridge December 12, 2011 Acrilawl, save your sanity and walk away knowing that you are the smarter man. Take a look at the link below. Scroll down about 30% of the way to see my conversation with the writer. This is what happens when you corner a Silva worshipper with an airtight case against Spider. If it were a courtroom, Silva would have gotten life without parole by now. Title holders only: 1. GSP 2. Jones 3. HUGE gap 4. JDS 5. Silva 6. Aldo 7. Edgar 8. Cruz Log in to Reply rob December 12, 2011 ^do us all a favor and delete your account please. 15 straight wins, 10 title defenses and if you remember correctly chael tested positive for PED’s and anderson was hurt (not that it matters HE STILL WON)haha you’re a fail. Log in to Reply Sephy December 12, 2011 Acrilawl GSP lost rounds in the Jake Shields fight Log in to Reply idgaf December 12, 2011 Isn’t Silva undefeated in the UFC still? He hasn’t lost a fight since he’s been champ. No matter who close he came to losing, HE WON! GSP wins rounds he doesn’t win fights. GSP is soft. I don’t watch his fights anymore, because I know when I wake up in the morning the headline will read “GSP defeats —- via decision” Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick December 12, 2011 So what?? He changes his p4p list eevrytime GSP,Edgar or Jones fight.White also said he thought Edgar was better then GSP because he can take a beating so his opinion is as consistant as his hair cut. Log in to Reply James December 12, 2011 I want to see a rematch between Lyoto And Jones. Lyoto was winning for the first round and a good part of the second round. Log in to Reply ^^^^ December 12, 2011 JDS is high on my list. Werdum (KO), Struve (KO), CroCop (TKO), Gilbert Yvel (KO), Gonzaga (KO), Roy Nelson (dominated), Carwin (dominated), Cain (KO). He only weighs about 235-240. Jon Jones/Anderson Silva/GSP are all much bigger than the people in their weight class. Anderson did move up to test 205 which I liked, but Jones/GSP needs to show me what they got. Log in to Reply ThatDude December 12, 2011 Anderson Silva is the Best, Then theres John Jones who is Running through the Light Heavyweight division, He’s always been good, Look at his old fights, he just needed the right oppertunity to come to the surface and it did. Frankie Edgar Has Heart and skills, He’s not letting go of that belt, After his fight with Gray Im convinced. And I was routing for GRAY ! Edgar is the truth. Aldo is new to me, but he’s definatly no push over. JDS deserves to be the Champ and I hope he holds on to it for a Long Time. GSP….. Sorry to hear about that injury, I really wanted to see GSP vs Nick Diaz, Ive always liked Nick cause he Has great stand up, and is a Threat to GSP. I think Nick will eventually be welter weight Champ. Nick has George shook Log in to Reply Tankless December 12, 2011 Throwing old Georges to the curb like a douchebag would. Log in to Reply jeckle December 12, 2011 I agree that Jones has mostly walked through everyone he has faced. However, Lyoto exposed some holes in Jones game: Jones looked confused when Lyoto rushed him and didn’t look comfortable being put on the defensive. I think if someone who can pressure like Lyoto did, but have great takedown defense and is a skilled wrestler, Jones could be in trouble. I’m really hoping to Rashad fight Jones and I think Rashad might be able to take it to him. Hopefully he gets past his next opponent. Log in to Reply murell December 12, 2011 Sorry Dana, Jon Jones is # one. Log in to Reply Sean Wooldridge December 12, 2011 What? My post got removed. I must have had some all caps in there or something. Anyway, Acrilawl, save your sanity and walk away knowing that you are the smarter man. I’ve gotten into it with numerous keyboard warriors and cornered them with an airtight case against Silva. When they run out of straws to grasp, they just tell you to let it go and agree to disagree. Log in to Reply willienugget December 12, 2011 GSP lost two rounds in his last fight. Log in to Reply Lodovik December 12, 2011 Many fans say, after seeing how JBJ dropped unconscious Machida like a bag of potatoes, that he is number 2. Log in to Reply willienugget December 12, 2011 Since joining UFC, only 2 of 14 fights have gone the distance. That’s 14-0 with 12 finishes. Anderson Silva is the best. Log in to Reply willienugget December 12, 2011 GSP has finished 3 of 10 fights in that same span. Log in to Reply truemmafan December 12, 2011 Acrilawl, you seriously believe that don’t you?!?!? Silva has 14 wins with no losses via the UFC. Has decimated everyone of his opponents in own game! He has defended his title 9 times! Let me also add he went up a division and won two additional times there! I dare you, DARE YOU, to attempt to compare those statistics to what GSP has accomplished! As for your irrational comment about Sonnen, look beyond the victory of Silva and on the fact that this convicted felon cheated taking testosterone to have a extreme advantage over Silva. There is no reason for you incompetence here…. Log in to Reply sooooopernate December 12, 2011 ok wtf? GSP has dominated everybody since Hughes save for the freak knockout by Matt Serra. I think Jones probably belongs at 2 or 1 strictly speaking about talent and ability, but I don’t think you can look at his resume’ and put him there, but finishing 3 champions in a row definitely helps his case. Ok he’s the GOAT. I love Jon Jones, he’d beat Fedor, Jr. Brock, Alistair, GSP, Silva, Edgar, and the rest of the UFC roster at the same time with one arm tied behind his back. Where the hell is black gerbil? Log in to Reply baller December 12, 2011 gsp is a safe fighter man wen takin p4p dont talk abut him pls, he fights 1ce a yr n will soon loose dat belt. Log in to Reply baller December 12, 2011 n dana no 1 care wat u say Log in to Reply BigRon December 12, 2011 1. Jones 2. GSP 3. Silva 2 and 3 are changable. Dont matter, Jones is the man! Log in to Reply Dr.Acula December 12, 2011 ITT- bunch of butthurt people trying to defend there favorite fighter. Everyone has a different list, get the **** over it. Bones looked good, but machida easily took the first round. Log in to Reply Dr steel December 12, 2011 Current P4P ACTIVE FIGHTER A silva…….one could argue GSP GSP ………one could argue A. Silva Jones Edger JDS Log in to Reply Dr steel December 12, 2011 GSP has to be considered AT LEAST in the top 3…hey has Dominated (albeit mostly decisions) EVERY opponent (cept serra)…Nobody sicne Hughes accomplished this at ww….. A. Silva has to be in top 3…..no case otherwise IMHO.. J. Jones ….nuff said the guy is a machine. Log in to Reply mmafan December 13, 2011 Have to chime in on this one. I place JBJones above Anderson(the drama queen) Silva on the P4P rankings, easily. Anderson Silva and JBJ should meet in the octagon to settle this, and this would be a blockbuster “fight of the century” type of fight but most likely wont happen right now, when it counts, because of UFC business policy, and also due to Anderson simply being scared of JBJ. I think we as fans should crown JBJ the defacto #1 P4P fighter…and let Anderson Silva move up to 205 to prove otherwise…but of course he wont because he knows what will happen to him. I have not yet seen JBJ once act like a gay drama queen in the middle of a fight..instead..he finishes fights. Log in to Reply ace December 13, 2011 Jon Jones number 1 by far. no one has come close to beating him yet. even silva got beat up by sonnen even though silva won, he still got his ass kicked. he has smashed everyone and he has way tougher competition than silva. gsp and edgar couldn’t even smash guys like bones could. and bones has not even hit his prime yet!!! scary…. Log in to Reply wow December 13, 2011 Silva Jones GSP Aldo JDS simple as that, anyone who discredits Silva is a fool… The guys record is like no other.. he beat Chael, just remember that, and Chael tested positive for illegal substances anyone forgetting that. Log in to Reply mangjose December 13, 2011 in my opinion 1. Jones 2. Silva 3. Condit 4. JDS 5. Aldo Log in to Reply wow December 13, 2011 Just look below, look who he has demolished… His most recent loss was a DQ for an upkick, and before that one of the best flying submission moves i have ever seen before. This record is unmatched and unrivaled, a man can only fight and beat who is put in front of him. combine that with Fight of the Night (Three times) Knockout of the Night (Three times) Submission of the Night (Two times) Undisputed P4P champion….. there can be no arguements. 31-4 Yushin Okami TKO (punches) UFC 134 30–4 Vitor Belfort KO (front kick and punches) UFC 126 Win 29–4 Chael Sonnen Submission (triangle armbar) UFC 117 Win 28–4 Demian Maia Decision (unanimous) UFC 112 Win 27–4 Forrest Griffin KO (punch) UFC 101 Win 26–4 Thales Leites Decision (unanimous) UFC 97 Win 25–4 Patrick Côté TKO (knee injury) UFC 90 Win 24–4 James Irvin KO (punches) UFC: Silva vs Irvin Win 23–4 Dan Henderson Submission (rear-naked choke) UFC 82 Win 22–4 Rich Franklin TKO (knees) UFC 77 Win 21–4 Nate Marquardt TKO (punches) UFC 73 Win 20–4 Travis Lutter Submission (triangle choke and elbows) UFC 67 Win 19–4 Rich Franklin KO (knee) UFC 64 Win 18–4 Chris Leben KO (knee) UFC Ultimate Fight Night 5 Win 17–4 Tony Fryklund KO (elbow) Cage Rage 16 Loss 16–4 Yushin Okami DQ (illegal kick) Rumble on the Rock 8 Win 16–3 Curtis Stout KO (punches) Cage Rage 14 Win 15–3 Jorge Rivera TKO (knees and punches) Cage Rage 11 Loss 14–3 Ryo Chonan Submission (flying heel hook) Pride Shockwave 2004 Log in to Reply wow December 13, 2011 Mangjose you been on the crack pipe, condit pmsl… and Bones who has defended his title once in 1st.. hahaha i assume youve been a fan for atleast 2 weeks Log in to Reply ASStronomical December 13, 2011 butt hurt GSPP fansbois. your tears of pain bring me tears of joy. time to wake the f up you vaseline heads. Log in to Reply ace December 13, 2011 Bones will beat silva without a doubt, stronger faster, look what sonnen did to silva and jones is even a stronger wrestler and faster and just as creative. jon walked thru machida, shogun, vera, bader, hamill, rampage, bonnar. the list is way more impressive than silva. and sonnen will beat silva if they fight again thats why silva is dodging him. Log in to Reply Caots December 13, 2011 I guess people are just choosing to forget that GSP lost against matt serra? Log in to Reply Tempted December 13, 2011 Sorry, my top five are John Jones Nick Diaz Sonnen GSP A. Silva in that order. GSP is number one leg humper, A Silva is number one douche bag, Sonnen is number one shit talker and Diaz is number one retard. Log in to Reply sooooopernate December 14, 2011 Nick Diaz is a good fighter, but he’s not top 5 material. GSP would embarrass him, Fitch would embarrass him, and even Kos would embarrass him. So get that shit outta here. I could see sonnen being up there, for sure, but you can’t put him above Anderson, he lost to him, and he was cheating! Come on dude. And no, nobody forgot the loss to Serra, did you forget that annihilation of a rematch? Fluke vs. skill dude. Log in to Reply Caots December 14, 2011 Fluke vs. Skill is beside the point. I was more so commenting on the fact that every body claims that GSP is a higher rank than Anderson which is not the case. GSP has lost more recently than Anderson. AND Anderson’s most recent loss was due to disqualification (2006). Georges’ were both by straight up getting beaten. Therefore, Anderson out ranks GSP. Log in to Reply Danby December 14, 2011 The only real figheters taht anderson silva has fought are dan henderson(who he fought at a VERY light weight for his age) and chael sonnen (who beat him) . Otherwise anderson has fought a bunch of cans including forest who totally threw the fight(no really watch it again) and vitor who is anouther can. Log in to Reply chiroguy December 15, 2011 After reading the posts on this forum, i think my IQ dropped about 40 points!!! Log in to Reply wow December 15, 2011 Danby are you for real? all Anderson can do is fight whats put in front of him.. Belfort, Cote, Franklin, Okami these are not cans mate. And Sonnen did not beat Silva, its a 5 round fight and who cares if he was GNPounded for 4 of those rounds, he dug deep and finished.. True Champion.
