@alwaysright – the worst part is that it was a joke which was taken from a show on FX. It wasn’t even his own joke. Imagine if anyone here got fired for repeating a joke you hear on TV…
His Doucheness has the right to fire anyone without cause according to the standard UFC contract, but at least be honest about the actual reason. Many UFC fighters have said things that are much more offensive and the Douche of White laughed.
The Douche is in his right, but he didn’t have to come up with this bull sh*t to justify it. Douchy Dana simply wanted an excuse to cut Torres because his salary is too high for his latest performances and for the money he brings in.
Cutting Torres for a “just cause,” allows them to renegotiate the contract and offer a much sweeter deal to the UFC.

First of all @Rockstarzee…Your comment on Michael Bisping is stupid and isn’t at all comparable with this situation so please leave this for the adults to discuss.
Miguel Torres made a JOKE! And apparently if Dana White doesn’t like your sense of humour your out of the company. Famous, well know, respected and POPULAR comedians make jokes about all sorts of taboo subjects and people love them for it. Their not being malicious or callous, their just making a JOKE. Nobody should lose their job over a f’n JOKE. What is this, the 19th century Soviet U.S.S.R? or The U.S.A, which is suppost to be one of the most open minded countries in the world? It’s a JOKE!

michael bisping “ahhmm i dont need the fans love, F*** you ill see you tomorrow” *flips off the crowd. dana white on that “haha if bisping doesnt want fans thats up to him” isnt that worse then a joke… i dont agree with the joke but theres no way torres should have been fire for that especially if bisping doesnt get anything for telling the crowd to F*** off.
