Dana White Confirms Chuck Liddell Is Officially Retired

Dana White confirmed on Setanta Sports that the Chuck Liddell will never fight in The UFC again.

“We have definitely seen the last of Chuck Liddell,” the UFC president confirmed to Setanta Sports. “That was his last fight.

White was being interviewed on the Setanta Sports’ Ultimate Talk show, where he confirmed the former light-heavyweight champion had made the decision to end his fighting career.

“He has nothing else to prove. He is the most famous Mixed Martial Artist on the planet, he’s made more money than God, he’s a champion and he’s got nothing else to fight for.”

This show is awful, the only section worth watching is Dana White’s call were he babels on and on about his power. The point here is this, Dana White is a promoter. At the end of the day he is going to do whatever it takes to make more money. So if that means disrespecting fighters(Silva)and putting him with a punching bag(Forrest)he’s going to do it every single time. He very well understands why Silva has had these “boring” fights and that’s because he’s not putting him up with anyone of his calibur. Look at it from Silva’s angle. He’s never made as much as Lidell, Ortiz, Couture or even Lesnar money wise, but yet he could take each one of them down anyday. Silva is bored, frustrated, and ready for a real challenge…he’s in a league all by himself. He’s only got 4 or 5 fights before his contract is up and he’s going to retire as the one and only fighter to be undefeated in the UFC. Shame on those that do not believe he ID the greatest P4P now and possibly that has ever lived!

Are you fucking kidding me?… He is supposed to be a top 3 fighter in the world, and as a top three fighter you are suppose to dominate opponents regardless of “caliber”, do you see Fedor go in the rings and saying “I’m too good for this guy, therefore I will fight bad because he’s not of my caliber” NO! He fought big NOG, and it was a great fight, he didn’t dance around for 5 rounds, avoiding the ground game.

So all the Silva jock riders, admit it your boy hasn’t shown up for the last two matches, NO EXCUSES! When you’re the best you give your best.

If you want to move up a weight class you CRUSH the competition on your weight class to show you deserve to be up with the bigger boys. You don’t bitch and whine, and ask for better opponents, and make excuses for the poor performances. Specially if people consider you the top P4P (not me, never did)
