I can’t root for either fighter in this with both being in my top 3 favorite fighters of all time…Vovchanchyn being the other. I think Shogun might take this by tko by hurting Hendo a few times with punches and leg kicks and eventually ground and pounding for a finish in the 2nd round or maybe submission, but I really hope it just goes to decision because I wouldn’t want to see a legend like Hendo going out. Shogun is so dangerous when he hurts people, he might have the best finishing rate when he drops people. Although henderson has a great chin, he gets dropped a lot in fights and you can’t be hurt on your back against Shogun…its pretty much a death sentence. Great fight, but I will be nervous for both of them.

Hi bruno is there any chance we could upload the challenger muay thai on this? We have a british lad and an american on it but the show isnt boadcast in england =( seen the teasers the looks like a good show. kinda a mix between TUF and the challenger boxing series that was on a bit ago. thanks

A great fight; I’ve been wanting to see this one for years.
@ Kount: Machida is probably Jones’ toughest match in LHW due to how effective he is at negating wrestling and avoiding/capitalizing on wild swings.
It’s not just Jones though, potential opponents also have to contend with the Jackson camp and Greg Jackson’s ability to customize a game plan to counter a particular fighter is incredible.
It’d be a tough fight for Machida but he’s the LHW with the best chance to beat Jones.

Bad match up for Shogun IMO he has problems staying off the canvas.I see Hendo wearing him out on the ground then either ground and pound or knocking out a tired Shogun.

Hendo is one of my top fave fighters. true martial artist that never talks crap and never disrespects anyone and he can fight!

This is a match made in heaven, but I can’t pick a winner. Too many variables to consider. I think Shogun is always a question mark on how he comes to these fights. A focused, healthy, well-trained Shogun is an spectacle by itself. He can ruin the best of the best in a flurry of furry. But that guy only shows up 1/3 of the time nowadays.

Man i hope Shogun wins !!! i mean im a huge shogun fan but Dan Henderson has good knock out power and he is a good wrestler so… you always have to be cautious about that .. but i think Shogun is excited about this fight cause they both fought in pride and never had a chance to face each other .. so its going to be a big huge pump up fight its smart i mean … but i like hendo to but im going to to be rooting for my boy Shogun hopefully he can ko him clean no one has ever done that to him we shall see

I can’t believe Dan is still fighting, but more so that he’s beating people and the way he’s beating them. I mean if he gets through Rua and then somehow beats Jones, I think we have to start talking G.O.A.T.

Henderson is at the age where men begin to experience andropause. He’s likely only pumping 2/3 of the testosterone of a 20 year old. It is amazing that some of these older guys do as well as they do in competitive sports. It’s getting about time for him to retire.
