Dan is no where near done. Vitor is just on a tear recently and would probably beat most MW’s and LHW’s. You have to be more of a grinder then dan (rare)or way more dynamic to beat him.

Henderson is 43 years old. His “luck” will not improve.

Adonis Says, in 11-11-2013 at 10:25:55 from

Hendo is a beast and he has a lot of fans so he isn’t done by a long shot.

“Done” Henderson!

solid Says, in 11-11-2013 at 13:32:56 from

This man is far from done. Give him yesterday or tomorrow and it would have been different. Are we talking about dan henderson here, he’s a f****** beast, did you see his record and who he beat???? Vitor a goood fighter but very very lucky.

If dan landed one his his missiles, think it’s a ”No Brainer”

Damn, why did this have to happen to henderson, he’s gracious in defeat too.

How could anyone talk s*** about him on this little forum…. seriously…… Dan henderson!!! Get real!!

High Stakes Says, in 11-11-2013 at 16:58:49 from

bad luck !! LOL yea bad luck that your 43 years old and should be pumping gas ! I have the right to talk sh&& because its all you dan Henderson butt buddies that were talking shi** when I said he is going to be sacrificed against vitor Belfort (in response to all you losers: YES I know he would beat me in a fight YES I am no one to talk. BUT I have the right to because if I am watching the UFC on a Saturday night when I have better things to do I DESERVE to not see 43 year old men get KTFO and piss themselves in round 1)

High Stakes Says, in 11-11-2013 at 17:02:58 from

he thinks the ref stopped it early lol : HOW WOULD YOU KNOW YOU WERE OUT

“I am so unlucky that when vitor punched me I got knocked the F$$$ out”

“I am so unlucky to be 43years old”

Joe Dog Says, in 11-11-2013 at 17:26:56 from

Henderson is one of my favorite fighters of all time but this is real life here kids. 43 year old men are past their athletic prime. Declining testosterone, arthritic joints and presbyopia are the inevitable reality. Ask any 40+ year old athlete. Sure, Henderson is still a tough SOB and a might KO another opponent or two, but talk of UFC belts are simply fight selling fantasies for his die-hard fans. The last of his “luck” was used when he beat Fedor. He should quit before someone kicks his teeth out.

Randy Couture Says, in 11-11-2013 at 17:59:35 from

Henderson! Listen to Joe Dog.

@ High Stakes Argogance

Look son lets get one thing straight, you can talk all your kiddy trash talk online. But at the end of the day, Mr. Dan Henderson and TRUE MMA fighters/fans like some of us here. Know the sacrifice’s it takes from an Olympic caliber fighter like Hendo once was, keyword once. (Thats why some people are BIG fans)

At the end of all these comments, its just a fact that any one of us would love to even be in that holy grail of an Octagon. The disrespect some immature people say to such a legend, makes you wanna pay for a PPV of them in that Octagon, then well see whos the 43 yr old man :-)

Origionalfan Says, in 11-11-2013 at 19:41:44 from

Joe dog
Well said
I’m a huge fan of Hendo and when
a guy over 40 starts a losing streak I don’t think
there can be any clearer sign that it’s time to switch jobs
I don’t want memories of Hendo getting pummelled
like vitor did to him. Two solid KO ‘s a punch and a kick
early in the 1st was hard to watch

Romuro Says, in 11-11-2013 at 19:48:30 from

Mis spelled Arogance* :-D

& by the way before any one continues talking down to such a legend lets give a review of his track record.

29 wins 11 loses.
Olympic Gold & multiple Silver & Bronze medals
Right there the average man retire’s on top but no motha f***** hendo introduces his over hand to fedor, wande, bisping, feijao, the great renozo gracie, the list goes on etc. etc.

You can call that be a f****** butt buddy but the only ass is the one who doesnt pay respect where its do. :-)

Romuro Says, in 11-11-2013 at 19:59:13 from

Rick Says, in 11-11-2013 at 22:14:24 from

H-Bomb aint done yet! I just hope Dana doesnt pull another Dana. Give him a contract. If he gets released, I would want him to retire before going to another organization. What good would it do him to beat up Tito and Rampage?

MONTE Says, in 11-12-2013 at 00:13:29 from

Romuro, you misspelled due.

That track record is all in the past, and he was one of the greats. What everyone is saying is that time is over, time to toss in the towel.

Concaledweaponclothing Says, in 11-12-2013 at 00:21:51 from

He didn’t lose for anything to do with ha age or getting worse . Idiots who know nothing always yell the loudest and most aggressive (high stakes ) . Dan simply lost cuz he fought a row of top guys he’s been fighting the top guys forever. Vitor is a killer who has put many people out sharp and quick. Pussies like stakes have never done any thing or had the balls to even try that’s why they sit on the side line and be vultures and attempt to attack the real men with balls any time they are any less then perfect. I’d bet my soul he’s a fat guy that can not even run and never gets any p**** and he’s ecstatic about the first time he called something right. Well fatty go join my page I’m 20n1 calling fights and I’m not a p**** yelling behind my computer hidden my name is jake ambrose and I run the page by same title as this name

Let Hendo fight Shogun one more time for his last Hoo Rah. Shogun already staetd he wanted a rematch.

If Dana does make that happen let it be his last fight, retirement match so to speak. Than abduct him ino the UFC hall of fame

*misspelled arrogance. And misspelled.

I’m a little surprised that I didn’t encounter any Vitor Belfort love on here. Just vitriol about Hendo’s age. Maybe he really should retire, but I feel like we’re a few men short of a full crew if we don’t say that Vitor looked awesome in this fight. Vitor looked like the Vitor of old who KO’d Wanderlei in sudden and explosive fashion. The same Wanderlei who subsequently earned his nickname with a championship run in Pride. Hendo didn’t just geezer himself into unconsciousness. He got hit by a relentless barrage of punches. I could do without ever hearing Vitor preach to me again, but when he’s on, he comes out gloves ablazin.

straightAhead Says, in 11-12-2013 at 04:09:04 from

Early stoppage – HA! In that case so was his fight vs Fedor

JJ Says, in 11-12-2013 at 04:15:31 from

@High Stakes
I stopped to even wonder why individuals like you come up with those insults and extremely subjective opinions. Back to your pump I’d say.

As per Hendo. I watched it a few times and to me he didn’t seem out at all. Dazed – yes, hurt – yes, but not out. He took few super bombs… and this headkick would leave 99% of fighters flat out on the floor… And Hendo still looked aware and ready to pull something. Sure he got caught and Margliotta stopped it and if he had safety of a fighter in mind than good for him. In my book Hendo wasn’t out. I actually believe he might have gotten out of this spot and put on a fight. Or he might have gotten finished right there and than (highly possible, because Belfort hits like a mule). The point is that it’s a speculation – because he was NOT KNOCKED OUT. He was hut before and he was in bad spots before – he usually found a way out.

Shogun Vs Hendo should be next up Then they both ride of into the sunset i Dont wanna see Hendo Ending up like sakuraba an old man punching bag, I mean look at the way he was moving in the vitor Fight like a Drunken Bum in a Bar . I Dont think Hendo has been the same since he Injured his knee in the buid up to jones and hope he can go out on a High .

p*********** Says, in 11-12-2013 at 14:34:23 from

Hendo may be one of the toughest fighters of all time (and still is) but when is the last time he hasn’t gassed right after the first round? And the guy is on TRT… Once you need that s*** for legit reasons, that’s your body telling you it’s time to hang them up. Just because your chin is still there doesn’t mean you should still be fighting. Just watch the way dan fights. He’s not fast enough and can’t really compete grappling wise with top ufc fighters anymore. The only way he’ll beat anyone is by drawing them into a brawl and clipping them. If you think he’ll win by any other scenario you’re an idiot. Imagine what jones or gustaffson or any other intelligent fighter with balls would do to him over 5 rounds… It would be hard to watch a good guy like Hendo take the beatings he would take against high level fighters

wcoastassassin Says, in 11-12-2013 at 18:18:27 from

No one said Hendo wasn’t or isn’t a good fighter. He is just not as good as he once was, let’s leave it at that.

wcoastassassin Says, in 11-12-2013 at 18:21:07 from

Hendo and Wanderlei should fight their last fight against each other and be done. 2 legends going out together, I would love to see that.

Joe Says, in 11-12-2013 at 19:24:48 from

I’m not sure where all of the Dan Henderson hatred is coming from, but the guy is a legend (I mean, he beat Fedor for F***’s sake), and has always been respectful to this sport and his opponents. Everybody gets caught, and it’s amazing that it took this long for him to get finished in a fight. Vitor Belfort is obviously a talented fighter but an annoying Jesus freak who always tends to fold under pressure. That is what made this victory surprising to most people.

So.. apparently getting KOd for the first time in your career of 40 pro fights means you’re “done” and you don’t have the physical capabilities to continue fighting… some of you guys are a joke! He might be getting closer to getting eventually cut from the UFC but he’s not near from being done.
