Dan Hardy Would Love To Trade Punches Nick Diaz

By no means am i big hardy fan; but i’ll note that the guy above me is an idiot. Hardy didn’t call Diaz out, he said that if given the opportunity he would fight Diaz. Given how high Diaz is in the rankings why would Hardy not fight him?

I’d say fair play. Most the interview was about Diaz, Dan would love to get that fight. Hughes is a wrestler who’d just hump him the whole fight. Look at it this way, he’s lost 4 in a row and he’s talking about Diaz, when he could fight a chump like Hughes. I give him respect. If he’s gonna go out, let it be to Nick Diaz. If he beats him he’s right up in the spot light.

Hardy is o.k. People are usually too hard on him because he advanced too fast through the ranks to get a title shot and than had to face a few top fighter to put him back at the beginning. I do believe he would put up a great show against Diaz, but if he wants to trade punches, he would probably be outmatched.
I think he can beat Hughes (but who can’t nowadays?), but he needs to improve his game a lot. Being tough is not enough anymore, especially when you are not that tough (Lytle is tough). With his height and skills, he need to be use his reach much more than he currently uses.
