I’m a hunter myself, I live in the backwoods of Newfoundland, Canada. But never do I ever even entertain the idea of killing something unless the populations can sustain it, I’m going to use it for food and its done in the most humane way possible. Hughes gives hunters a bad name. Someone needs to hunt him down for sport and mount his head on the wall.

Matt went to a poor country and put a lot of money into the community which desperately needs it, these hunting excursions is what put roofs over communities, and without the sport of hunting these communities would have nothing else to offer, these communities offer these hunting retreats as a means of survival, so no i don’t see how you can demonize someone for putting food in a communities table, in this sense it is hunting for life or death, just in this case its someone’s else’s life.

I have no problem with hunting as long as every part of the animal is used and not wasted.
I’m Native American so I might have a biased opinion, it’s kind of part of my culture.

I agree with everyone here. Hunting is not a bad thing if you do it for food or keep the population of certain animals down such as deer/moose in Canada. You can have some fun doing it as well, no problems, but flying over to Africa and random killing 50 big animals to satisfy yourself and your retarded needs is ridiculous. Also, how can you compare sport hunting to eating fast food? Those animals are killed for food and in the case of cattle leather. Is there some waste? Sure, there is always waste weather it is a slaughter house doing it or a hunter.
Also, all the patrons eating that meat aren’t the ones that tortured and neglected it. If slaughter houses are doing that then that is wrong too. Not all chicken and cattle farms are cruel.

I also wouldn’t call it “hunting” if you just drive up 100 yards from a herd, park the car and take pot shots at animals with nothing to take cover behind. His hunting is akin to fishing in a fish tank. He could kill nuisance animals in the US (deer, raccoons, single mothers) all day for free. It’s that he chooses to pay $ to go to Africa, for the sole purpose of killing new species. I think that is what has people agitated. I had the same problem when Lesnar used a shotgun on a small farmer’s market worth of produce.
