RYGAR… This was Strikeforce, not UFC – I think the UFC refs do also have the camera too. This was an interesting perspective to see the fight from.

cung le was getting his ass kicked! if it wasn’t for that arm being broken i think Frank would have laid him out the next round because he was clearly taking complete control of the fight as time went on.

You have to appreciate the return of the ref cam. No other sport in the world uses the ref cam.

If you can find it, YouTube videographer “Boondock” has a great video called “The Third Man” which is a compilation of rare Pride ref cam shots.

It’s set to ColdPlay “Fix You” (Sounds weak but it actually works.) These are professional quality video compilations that are better than the marketing team at UFC could come up with.

Also check out Boondock videos “Hurt” and “Furious Angels.”

i am nominating this fight for fight of the year! It was the last kick to the arm that snaps it, then the bell saves shamrock at the end of the round ’cause he cant throw any punches with it. Shamrock is still a warrior, props to le thou.

14:44 is when Cung Le broke Frank Shamrock’s arm. U can see Frank’s expression change as hes shaking it off. Thats the beginning of the end for Frank there. Great fight though, both did well.

The whole fight was control by Cung, and frank got a few good shot at the end of third. Beside Frank admitted that Cung broke his arm in the second Round, maybe in the FIRST. Damn I don’t ever see someone get their arm broken in a MMA fight from a kick.

Sorry, but that first minute was bullshit. Frank could have easily had him on the canvas but backed off. It looked fake. Frank is an excellent grappler. It should have been text book for him. You can’t tell me all that spinning Cung did saved him from hitting the ground.

Frank broke his arm, but it was more or less a planned loss. Cung/Sham 2 will make even more money in my opinion….

It was a great fight. Could have been a better fight if Frank was able to fight his style. Cung Le’s feet was too quick for Frank to fight his style, Le was simply too fast for Frank.

Not impressed at all by Cung….he is a great striker and all..but this fight showed that he has a ways to go before he can fight in the big show…the UFC. Frank is good…but he is a benchmark at this point for up and comers…and just a headliner for Elite. Frank was beating Cung up….and with a poor game plan….I mean..who stands in front of Cung and strikes as long as Frank did…stupid…but he still was beating Cung…but you let Cung kick you all day…of course he is going to damage you. Anderson Silva, Rich Franklin..even a lighter opponent like Matt Hughes and St. Pierre would beat Cung….but I hope to see him make his way to those big fights..would be fun to watch.

frank got knocked on his as how many times? plus cung le got more hits than him. I’ll give you credit that it was a dumb idea for shamrock to try and stand with him, but thats all I’ll agree with. well except for the part of Anderson silva and GSP kicking his ass. either way winning is winning, no one cheated,and somebody left with a broken arm
