lolll ariel is always taking the piss with the whole seagal thing. I dont think he takes seagal serious at all, its just a sham hes always almost laughing whenever he brings him up

Cung said it like it is. Anderson got famous for his style in the octagon, the unorthodox movement and striking. Seagal came in, showed anderson a couple kicks here and their and has been on camera and receiving credit far more then he deserves. Pretty sure Ariel is trolling when he calls him ‘sensei seagal’, at least I hope he is.

Cung Le is absolutely correct about Seagal. I know that he’s taught a couple of fighters a few things but what has he really done for the sport besides being in front of the camera. What about Shaq and Kevin James? They’ve done about as much as Seagal. I used to like Ariel Helwhiney but now he’s being a complete idiot. Or how about Pat Morita, aka Mr. Miyagi. How would Anderson have beaten Victor if it wasn’t for the crane kick? I know it wasn’t a crane kick but it was pretty darn close. I was hoping for a leg to appear out of nowhere ala Zohan style from Cung Le.

Agreed, Ariel is much too informed to think Steven had anything to do with UFC/MMA popularity or even having added value to the sport. The only thing I can think of is Ariel trying to break into the “B” level movie genre and using Steven as his way in.

Ariel is back to his old tricks, trying to still up the dirt, from his comments about Cote as an opponent, to his questions about Seagal’s relevance in MMA. Regarding Seagal, respect the man’s opinion when you ask for it. Bad reporting.

Ariel threw the bait, but Le didn’t get the joke. Le kept it serious. Ariel was thinking, as an actor, Le would be able to roll with the joke, but it didn’t happen. That’s that.
Ariel has spent too much time with Chael Sonnen. Not everyone is wired to improv, though.

The more I view Ariels interviews the more I hate the guy. He’s always out there trying to instigate some drama s*** and get “interesting footage” of fighters saying some s***. Even the way he constructed the whole question and put “sensei” before every Segal. I hate Seagal so much and I know that the only way we get rid of him is NOT TO TALK ABOUT him because it’s useless. Ariel should work for a tabloid and not mma news. Rampage was right for disliking Ariel.. you ugly skinny mermaid.
