these guys who fight with injuries like this have got to be borderline super human. Thats f***** insane to still take the roy nelson fight. I give him even more props than guys who get hurt during the fight b/c Cro Cop’s adrenaline wasnt pumping to block out any pain. Still…i hear about things like Mighty mouse fighting miguel torres for half the fight with a broken tibia (fibula?) and kurt pellegrino fighting 95% of his fight with george sot. with a blown acl. and countless guys fighting with broken ribs, jaws, etc. So much respect.

Wow.Really shouldn’t be moving that arm at all.
Take 2 x 250mg of L-Tryptophan for 3 days..then stop for a month…it brings the extremely athletic body back to it’s base rather than 80% fit and 80% stressed out…it would go like 80% fit and 80-100% unstressed.Really Relaxes the muscles and as not to cause and knee jerk reactions and making those micro tears in that arm. Will not feel drowsy or any other medical induced relaxed aid.L-Tryptophan is an amino acid,,,,not a medical pill. Safe@!!! See ya in March Mirko! Go get ‘em!

wow. That’s crazy; Cro Cop has one of the most hardcore mentalities I’ve seen. To the point of being seriously counterproductive to his health for the sake of competition. Not sure I would do it that way, but mad props to him.

Man I hope this technique of F*** what the doctor says works for him! I have heard stories of people receiving large lacerations partially severing tendons who choose to ignore the doctors orders and bounce back 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. However I had the open reduction surgey on my right hand fifth metacarpal (Pinky Bone)and ignored the doctors orders. I was in a cast four months and then ended up breaking my hand again, two weeks after the cast was removed because wasn’t completely heal. Ya I know I am a dumbass. At least the rahabilitation nurse was foxy. I give Cro Cop a 50/50.

I did notice that Mirko was not throwing any rights during the fight. Rogan was all over it too, and it probably was one of the big reasons Roy took him out.

Respect to Crocop, I think the last UFC fight could have been a turning point with a healthy hand, even Joe mentioned Crocop not using the right hand after a while. And before that Crocop had the fight goin his way. Great fighter but probably K-1 suits him best.

That is one helluva tuff guy, but then again most fighters really are…UFC to smokers in parking lots. YUP today imma drink one to “all” fighters and even those that wish we could but maybe age, injury, family responsibility whatever can’t. CROCOP!
