At a brief interview in the airport back in Croatia Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic says he is O.K. after his fight with Gabriel Gonzaga in Manchester.
Aside from his visible limp the former K-1 champ appeared no worse for the ware in a video interview with local Croatian news media. It was hard to believe this was the same man who was laying unconscious on the mat just 11 hours earlier.
It won’t be known until later in the week if he sustained any major damage to his knee or ankle in his fall after the knockout.
