Brock is going to make Pat Barry into Chicken Salad

Swordsmansmith Says, in 12-22-2011 at 15:21:04 from

Reem will be even uglier after Brock gets done with his face. He new nickname will be horseface…

Reem is SO badass

NMPLD1987 Says, in 12-22-2011 at 15:32:04 from

OV has three belts that he took from washed up fighters! Paul buentello, Todd Duffee and peter Aerts. They were practically handed to him. Now its time for the big stage, no faking toe injuries out of this one

I can’t imagine Overeem not taking this and by TKO or KO within three rounds. You can see that Brock is nervous, not the good type that can bring focus. Overeem looks forced into his one liners, painful script and not something he’s used to. That being said I like Brock, a lot and know he’s brutal and one slip could be all he needs. This may be the first fight for Overeem and maybe two fights later the casual fan will think of him in the likeness of JJB

im more stoked about cerrone vs diaz. excited to see whos boxing and striking shows through first.

paulwonder Says, in 12-22-2011 at 17:26:50 from

Anyone who is doubting if overeem is steded up to the eyeballs just has to look at the difference of his shape and the likes of john jones at 205 jj is riped to death and looks comically thin were at overeem at 205 still is carrying weight.
Dont get me wrong he has had to train to make thos gains aswell but no way is anyone putting on 45 pounds of clean muscle in 3 years naturally he looks like a different person.

nice photoshop on the bike. this is a good site, but not famous enough to be endorsed by Alistair.

now if only there was a website for people who love dora the explorer…

My impression was that this card was going to be kinda boring not completely though because I’m jet to see donald Cerrone lose and he is very fun to watch. Until I saw the name Jon Fitch the guy that is destined to become a UFC champion whether is LW or WW I don’t care this guy is one of my favorite fighters he alone make this UFC event worth watching.

AznPersuazn Says, in 12-22-2011 at 19:04:58 from

Man Pat Barry and that coach were really pushing it when they said Brock can take a punch, and that they had no doubt he could stand with Alistair lol.

Dr.Acula Says, in 12-22-2011 at 19:08:48 from

^ You think Fitch makes the ufc worth watching? lmfao..hes a lay and pray. Look at his record…how many are 3rd decision grind out lay and prays? 9 of his 13 wins in the ufc are by decision. Sure hes 13-1 and a top contender, but he in no way makes the card worth watching. FOTM and best reason to watch this card is Cerrone vs Diaz. And..there is no way jon Fitch could compete at LW..LW=155. Fitch probably walks at 185…and hes no gilson tibau.

Dr.Acula Says, in 12-22-2011 at 19:12:21 from

Oh and if you want some1 who’s exciting to watch why not try the natural born killer Carlos Condit. He has finished 26 out of 27 opponents. That’s amazing.

the nan Says, in 12-22-2011 at 19:41:34 from

Ah, what a card. I realized it’s all the new kids jumping on to the ufc bandwagon who doubt the Reem. Can’t blame them though, Lesnar has been given this sort of god-like image by the UFC’s PR. In any event, Reem VS. Dos Santos will be the match to look out for in 2012. Cerrone is also looking sharp lately, I’m going with him to take the W.

“Dennis Siver’s five foot five. What the hell” Another great Diaz brother quoted. Go Nate!! Overeem’s got his plate full against Brock, but if can stay on his feet it’s all over for Brock.

Can we get a re-up, Bruno? Looks like someone deleted it. Thanks!

Bruno: Fixed.

fitch is the most boring fighter in the ufc, worse than gsp. cerrone and diaz that’s the fight of the night. jds will kill the reem.

steamachine Says, in 12-23-2011 at 02:35:13 from

i always pick based on who I like as a person with a favor to strikers, that being said Brock is a person that has nothing interesting to say and a laughable stand up game, Overeem on the other hand is always personable and can trade with K-1 level guys….so I got REEM

cookie Says, in 12-23-2011 at 04:05:11 from

Lesner better than Overeem om the ground?? that’s a joke right?

Powertele Says, in 12-23-2011 at 09:27:18 from

New respect for Nick Diaz making sure his little brother had something to do with his life. It doesn’t take much. Take the guy to a positive place with you and tell him to make something of it. Very cool story.

kryptonite Says, in 12-23-2011 at 10:26:24 from

the diaz brothers are total pricks that cerrone will hopefully knock him out.. brocks last two fights he has been crap getting knocked all over the octagon the same is going to happen he can not stand up against the reem..

j172 Says, in 12-23-2011 at 12:18:29 from

I think allister is going to exploit lesnar’s submission game. Im thinking arm bar after lesnar takes him down. Allister is probably the only heavyweight who would be able to pull it off since he is strong as hell.

ace Says, in 12-23-2011 at 13:30:01 from

reem lost to chuck liddel, shogun, arona, nogueira, sergei, he really hasn’t beaten anyone significant. cain and jds would beat him.

jaydog Says, in 12-23-2011 at 15:10:26 from

Really??? Brock says he doesn’t know who Overeem is? He’s full of it. Brock better hope Reem’s stamina is garbage and he lays and prays.
Nate Diaz is a punk. He has no respect for his fellow man. He displays it in his words and the way he fights. Cerrone is a beast and can out strike Nate, but Nate is a beast on the ground and he probably has the bigger gas tank. The true main event IMO, WAR CERRONE!

lke Says, in 12-23-2011 at 16:37:09 from

Hey, Ace, you’re so right. However, Overeem is on his prime right now. He would destroy them all in a rematch!

fightdontbefake Says, in 12-23-2011 at 19:37:59 from

haha, pat berry talking trash, lmao, right…

scottc Says, in 12-23-2011 at 22:14:52 from

Look for Brock to attack right out of the gate and either try to take Reem to the ground or push him up against the fence. If Reem can sprawl and slip out of it Brock is in for a long night. If it goes to the ground Brock will pound him like he did to Mir. If it goes into the second round or even third i give it to Reem because i think he will have the better stamina. Brock may still not be 100% after his surgery even though he thinks so.
