Uriah’s knockout was better… Cella was laid out for 2 to 3 minutes easy… this guy was back up in 1 minute or less. Not nearly as devstating as Uriah’s. The way the guy fell looked more dramatic… or more like a dolphin doing a back flip out of the water… lol!

Nowhere near the Uriah Hall concern. That guys torso curled when he went out, simple as that. His head wasn’t knocked back that far, his body just made it look like it was when it convulsed. The TUF KO was scarier because it was a brutal kick to the side of the head/neck.

@Collin: Apologizing to Gerald afterward shows a lot of character and, honestly, so does acknowledging it in this forum. Like all fans of the sport, I always like to see a good knockout, but after this one I’m just glad he didn’t break his neck. It was a good KO. So was Uriah Hall’s. Spinning wheel kicks must be just about the awesomest flashy move out there except for maybe Anthony Pettis’ off-the-cage, double backflip 720 crescent kick, lol. There are a few things that I’m always looking out for in the way that fighters interact with each other. Little acts of humility go a long way in my book. Checking to make sure the other fighter is okay, or gracefully showing respect no matter who won is also awesome. My favorite, though, is when the fighters do it during the fight. The best example that I can remember was when Ben Henderson fought Donald Cerrone in the WEC for the first time. Bendo stacked up Cerrone when he was in his guard n dropped bombs on him, then Cerrone reaches up n they high-five to acknowledge his skill while still stacked up. Cerrone earned a lot of respect from me for that.
