Even if he’s being criticized, he still has a great choke and watching him shows others how to do it properly. I certainly don’t mind seeing a specialist doing his thing in a fight.

Some may fail to understand that, when fighting, the head and neck will most likely get caught in some type of hold / choke. Either by one arm or both of them.

It’s a natural reflex / behavior for men. Once aknowledging that fact, the key is to be ready when it will happen.

It goes both ways too, Your head is most likely to get stuck at one point as well.

E.g. I’ve been in avg 20 fights/brawl, if I recall, 85% of the time, I did had my opponent head in some sort of choke or hold. I’m pretty sure those who fought before had the opportunity as well, at least once.

levessur nailed him with the shot’s he threw, should have kept it standing. getting choked out by d’Artagnan (mckenzie) has no excuse when you initate the ground game. although alan belcher just proved that wrong against palhares.

he seems like a nice guy, but i still cant believe people lose to him, and by the same method over and over. he really cant strike, and aside from the chokes, im not sure how goog his ground game is. he really seems like a one trick pony to me, but maybe im wrong
