This is the second fight between Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture. Their MMA fight took place at UFC 52 on The Strip at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada. |
Nowhere nearly as long as their first fight but very exciting with a lot of action. This fight was for Randy’s light Heavyweight title.
Great right, dunno what randy bo bandy was thinking with that goatee. I hope I see him Fight Fedor soon.

i think both fights Chuck knocked Randy out were because of two very minisqual factors. This one was clearly the eye-poke, also as a result of Randy becoming angry/eager to get after it. The second fight was because of a slip, he faked the left hand, lost his footing and got caught with a right from Chuck. I dont think the outcomes of the last two fights do justice to Randy’s skill vs. Chucks skill, as well as what may of occured if the two “factors” so to speak were involved. i know someone is gonna pick on the fact that this mistake could of been 100% bad judgement on Randy’s part, but i beg to differ.
Fedor is much more better than couture, randy has no chance against the last emperor.
What the hell Gerbil, that’s one sweet goatee. Randy had an even sweeter one about 10 years if you look at his older fights.

to me it seems randy had a bad game plan chasing chucko because chuck is a great counter puncher but if the fight went into champion rounds randy would of destroyed chuck like the first fight
I really wonder if Couture really wants to fight Fedor, or he’s just going through the motions. I mean he only has one fight left on his contract, and if he really wanted to fight Fedor, he’d do everything he can to facilitate that. He should just fight his last UFC fight, and work on setting a match of a lifetime against Fedor.
Tobe honest, I’m not a fedor jock rider, but I am a huge fan… ever since I saw him destroy Heath Herring in 02, I knew this guy had some serious talent.
Like I was saying, I don’t think Couture can beat Fedor, if he had a hard time fighting Liddell, and taking him down… I don’t see him faring any better against Fedor.
If it does happen, I say Fedor knocks him out because Couture will have a hard time taking him down, and if Couture thinks he will slam him and knock him out… Randleman tried that… and it didn’t work.
couture is not randleman dirty 7-30. I believe couture has a very good chance of winning that fight becuase of his superior roman greco wrestling,nasty clinch, dirty boxing,great takedowns.do me a favor and wacth randy dominate sylia and gonzaga, that was coplete ownage.

Geez… comparing Fedor to Sylva… what an insult! Gonzaga is not an insult.
Well Fedor is a Judoka… so the clinch is nothing he would fear.. since most wrestlers get tossed around by Judokas… that’s why wrestlers shoot. Couture has not faced any one the likes of Fedor… he’s a stronger puncher than Liddell… he’s as skilled as the next best guy on the ground, look how he fought big Nog.
I’m glad you give him a chance, but Fedor is the superior fighter. Couture is good, but after Fedor beats him, he will humbled and his will end his career with a meager hurrah…
Most americans haven’t seen much of him, but they have been saturated with Couture fights.
judoka and Sambo… I don’t want people trying to correct me! as he has entered Judo competitions and finished on the top 5, and has finished number 1 in sambo a few times.
