It’s called the flying scissors kick… and you have to be skilled to do that in a ring/ cage.. and lets face it… Liddell is not that skilled, he can only pull shit like that on blow-joe.

But just in case you want to see it in a real MMA fight, done by someone that has enough skills to pull if off, look for RYO CHONAN vs ANDERSON SILVA.. Funny how this balk belt BJJ fighter didn’t get out of it…. HUMMMM… can some one say “SILVA SWALLOWS ON THE GROUND?!…

All this Brazilian guys have black belts, and yet they suck on the ground… look at Wandi… when have you seen him comfortable on the ground?… NEVER!.. that’s because he doesn’t have a black belt… Well maybe he does, but he didn’t earn it.. Silva is no diff… So he has 3 wins by subs…. big fucking WOOP… BUTTERBEAN has 1.

You will never see take downs like these in the UFC… fans want to see gore not skills… so the fighters make sure they put on a good street fight.

yeah Liddell is not very good. he was only LWH champion for how many years, beating everyone who was anyone in the ufc.

Anderson has no ground game… and if Chonan missed it, he knew that Silva was gonna let him up, Since Silva is smart enough to know that Chonan is better than him on the ground. I have been watching Silva since Pride… and he avoids the ground, he knows he’s weak.

I wasn’t comparing Silva VS Butterbean…what I was comparing were the wins by submissions… All you Silva nut huggers keep on mentioning that he has 3 win by sub… to which I reply and Butterbean has one… in other words… 3 wins doesn’t mean that he is a submission specialist, or a ground specialist like is assumed to be. He only submitted one guy RNC.. the other two were strike submissions… BJJ black belt… yeah!… so is my cock!

When Henderson kicks his ass.. it will be a submission… Herderson is not the human punching bag that Franklin is. Franklin is a dumb fighter, and that’s why he got his ass kicked twice by Silva. He always thought he was tough and shit, if he was smart enough he should have known that Silva is a superior striker, therefore he should have tried to take it to the ground, but since Franklin swallows on the ground too… he had no other option but to try and slug it out… and we all know how that turned out… poor Franklin… as long as Silva is in the UFC he will never be the poster boy he once was…

Same for Liddell, all these foriegn fighters will make the UFC undesirable for Americans, because they only like to see Americans win.

All this talk about how good UFC is crap,most of the fighters want to take every one to ground.IMO more of the stand up type of fighting is a lot more appealing.If you try and do that in a street fight or pub you will get hammered by the blokes mates.

A Jui Jitsui fighter is only good on the ground,but a good MMA fighter will win every time IMO.One simple rule i’ve learnt over time is never go to ground and if you end up there get up as quick as possible.If they try and come at you on the ground crack them straight in the knee,that will stop any body.

On saying that i do watch UFC because we can all learn some thing new.

if it’s 1 on 1 fight, a good bjj guy will beat a good striker most of the time as royce gracie has demonstrated. if it’s 2 on 1 fight, bjj is pretty useless and a striker will have a better chance since you can take someone out with one punch.
