chuck should be bummed out, he played into someone else’s game plan. his own game plan at that. he can’t curb his temper or has no patience. rashad is no joke he even said that before the fight. if they fight again i don’t think it go down the same way. chuck needs to be more dimensional.

I think Rashad has skills, but i think luck played a role in this one as well. I mean, he threw exactly the right punch at exactly the right time.

Plain and simple, Liddell changed his usual game plan, because he underestimated Rashad’s striking and punching power. He figured he didn’t have to be the patient counter puncher, because he could press Rashad and go toe to toe with an inferior striker and he paid for it. Congrats Rashad for making me eat my words.

Luck had nothing to do with it. He threw a jab before the overhand right. He found his range and Chuck went into Rahard’s range by coming close. Point is, you Chuck fans need to give props where its due. Evans executed his game plan to near perfection. All his antics are just stupid. But I bet you guys were “lol” and high fiving when Brock did what he did to Herring..

Anyway. Evans deserves a title shot against Forrest. And if it happens, it should be a good fight

I think the more interesting fight is Rashad vs. Dan Henderson..2 wrestlers who can really bang! I think that would really test Rashad’s heart, and he would probably get busted up pretty bad…so far Rashad’s toughtest fight to date has been against Sam Hogar…

Luck had nothing to do with this fight. Chuck was pressing the whole fight,something he never does. Thats why he lost. He should have been more patient and thrown a few leg kicks to throw Rashad off. Rashad looked nervous at first. When he settle down he game plan was clear. At least to me. It should have been clear to Chuck.

This statement is not neccessarily true. For example; Frazier beat Ali their first fight but got destroyed by Foreman. Ali in turn destroyed Foreman. Based on your theory this should not have happened. Foreman should have walked through Ali since he walked through Frazier which is what everyone in the world expected to happen in “The Rumble In the Jungle” but it did’nt. Just because you can beat one man does not mean that you can also beat the men that he has beaten. Styles as well as many other unseen factors make a fight. Any real fighter or trainer will tell you this. No disrespect to anyone but are there any real fighters or trainers in here? It seems to me that these blogs consist mainly of fanboys and not people with real combat science understanding based on some of the things being posted in these forums.

It was a nice fight. Very solid right. Rashads right vs Chucks right. Rashad beats Chuck to the draw every single time. Chucks right is a looping over head where as Rashads right is a tight to the body and he uses his abs and upper body to propel his fist. Chuck uses momentum from the loop making his punch slower. They innitiate their punch at the same time if you watch the replay.

chucks problem is he rushes in to quickly. it has nothing to do with age, hes like a kid in that aspect and he needs to be more patient. the fight would of went differently, but obvioulsy it did not, so congrats too evans, but i believe that will not happen again. everything happens for a reason, chucks missing something, and only he can get it, i believe its something bigger than training myself being a spiritual person and a fighter, i believe chuck needs to find that ‘force’ and nothing will stop him. there are those elements mentioned and i believe the man will be back. but age has nothing to do with it, the fight was going beautifully till chuck came in looking for that knock out. there are other ways to finish a fight and chucks an awesome wrestler, theres things he can do other than toe to toe-so that being said choke a mother fucker out if yu have too, break the a fuckin limb off! its not always about knock outs, yu do whatchya gotta do, and thats win. next time its a different story.
