And it is the Christ The Redeemer Statue, not a random Burger King or something. Log in to Reply Lodovik August 30, 2011 Lucky guy this Jesus. I would like to have a photo with those two as well Log in to Reply asbarran August 30, 2011 I dont get u!!!???, just cause they’re Brazilian doesn’t mean they’ve gone everywhere in Brazil to see sights/monuments. I bet not all N.Americans have gone to the statue of liberty, grand canyon… etc. FOOL!!!! Brazil is a big country, u should look @ a map when u get a chance.. Log in to Reply Avengedlevis7x August 30, 2011 I like seening fighters that aren’t afraid to admit there faith and acknowledge a higher power other then themselves. It seems us Americans have a hard time admitting we believe in God for fear of rejection. While in other countries people proudly talk about it. Nice post Bruno! Thanks Log in to Reply Andrenvser August 30, 2011 jassmo, brazilians are the most religious people in the world, so to them is something important and they proud of that statue Log in to Reply Krio August 30, 2011 @Avengedlevis7x Nobody believes in god, only the poor countries do Log in to Reply KRUsouljahz August 30, 2011 one dream of mine is to go to that statue, its amazing. hopefully when i go i see royce there or some brazilian fighter like those people did in the video. a two-fer! Log in to Reply sam August 30, 2011 wow i absolutely had no idea that was a statue of Jesus the whole time. i just realized all i really know about brazil is soccer, hot women, bjj, and anything i saw in city of God Log in to Reply AAA August 30, 2011 Avengedlevis7x, what do you mean by “we” ??? Do you speak for the 35 million non-religous or atheists as well? America is a country founded by atheists such as Benjamin Franklin and religion should not have any place in American politics or school system. However, you are more than welcome to practice your religion, whatever it may be. Log in to Reply Juniordoslightsout August 30, 2011 @Avengedlevis7x Go take your religion republican jargon right where the minotauro fans from that fans crowd camera video told shaub to stick it. You should be ashamed to think a book without an author is more truth than science. 3rd world countries are into religion because that’s what they’re taught when they’re young. you on the other hand had mass communication on your side for the last 100 years you should have figured it out by now. Junior’s one of my favorite fighters and I’ve got no problem with him being religious what I do have a problem with is idiots like you writing that you’re scared to proclaim religion. In the US we’ve made it so all people can proclaim what ever they want without discrimination. Tell me I’m wrong and I’ll tell you you’re from another country and don’t understand the laws because they are tricky or you’re too dumb to figure out our system which is more likely from a republican such as yourself. You can say whatever you want the worst you’ll get is a tounge lashing in the USA. Try that in Iran and see what happens. Log in to Reply jdogg August 30, 2011 @ Juniordoslightsout – If you think there is not STILL discrimination in this country then yes, you are wrong. And I’m not from another country. Log in to Reply PizzaPugilist August 31, 2011 @ Krio, Ha ha ha ha ive been laughing for like five minutes now… i think ive pissed myself! Very insightful and informative! So in summary, only the poor countries believe in god? It’s all so complex, I hope this isn’t on the test… Log in to Reply PizzaPugilist August 31, 2011 I wanna see Junior turn the other cheek Log in to Reply Rio_Warrior August 31, 2011 Christ will forgive you, brasilian fighters wont. Log in to Reply Avengedlevis7x August 31, 2011 AAA Says here is Benjamin Franklin quotes “Here is my Creed. I believe in one God, the Creator of the Universe. That He governs it by His Providence. That He ought to be worshipped”. “As to Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the system of morals and his religion, as he left them to us, is the best the world ever saw, or is likely to see”. When I said “we” as in the 270 million Americans that believe in a God of any religion. You brought up politics and school not me. I appreciate your comment even though it was not a fact. I was not speaking of atheist like you. Sorry you got offended I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings…. Log in to Reply Avengedlevis7x August 31, 2011 @Juniordoslightsout See you proved my point this is the rejection I was talking about. By the way I’m neither a republican nor a democrat. In 08 I voted for Obama which I should not have done. I’m not a media robot like you, you believe anything 1 source tells you. I like a little bit of both sides Republican and Democrat. I’m not as gullible as you to believe that one side has all the answers. I’m a Union bricklayer, I volunteer my time to help build this Country. What do you do for America? I love America and I know I couldn’t have any religious stand in Iran. But for you to get so bent out of shape over my comment is actually pretty humorous…. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick August 31, 2011 @Avengedlevis7x You call a guy a robot and gullible but yet you beleive in religion how odd…Its like obese guys calling Kim Kardashian or brtiney Spear fat LOL.Thats what pisses people of.You think you are superior because you beleive in a book and try to impose your beleifs.Thats why atheist hate most religious people because you all try to bash your beleifs in people’s brains because intelligent people beleive in science. How do you explain that they found dinosaurs but God never talked about them??Because in that time they also beleived whirpools in rivers and lakes were sea monsters but is that true? And you talk about how better your religion is.How does murdering millions of people through history because in the book they say to go there and kill people and steal their land.Or is it better that they hide PEDOPHILE priests from the law by sending them to Africa where they can keep raping people…Stop trying to impose your religion here nobody is that dumb to beleive that. There is a “Force” who created the universe but if it was God or Allah or any other non existing thing,he would’ve got his fact straight the 1st time he wrote his book. Log in to Reply Avengedlevis7x August 31, 2011 KungFuLowKick Job 40 15:19 talks about dinosaurs and thats in the Bible. I’m not trying to impose nothing. It’s funny how you talk about a book that you’ve never read. It takes way more faith to believe we came from nothing. Than it takes to believe we were created. The Bible does not talk about river being sea monsters. One of the Books of the Bible that was written 2500 years ago talks about the earth being a circle held up by nothing. When 500 years ago the smartest people at that time said the earth was flat. Thats funny the Bible knew the world was a circle 2000 years before the smartest people knew it. Explain that kungfu. Explain how the Bible knew about the regathering of the jews in 1948 how they became a nation again after 2000 years. The truth is you know nothing about the Bible because you never read it. And by the way I love science to me it proves that God does exist by how complex everything really is. Kungfu tell me something that offends you about the Christian faith. Nowhere does it tell you to kill people steal their land or hide pedophile priest. If you would read The Bible for yourself you would know that the main thing it talks about is love toward people and God. So I’m sorry if a message of Love offends anyone because it shouldn’t. Log in to Reply Disciple August 31, 2011 Keep fighting the good fight avenged. People want to live in the dark and continue doing evil things and Christ is the light which reveals it. Its written on our hearts and creation is proof. I ran from God for 10+ years but once i surrendered it was like a light switch flipped on and now the world appears all so differently. The wages of sin is death so if asking God to forgive our sins and placing our trust in Him is stupid, so be it, however gambling your life by not knowing whether there is a heaven or hell and which you will spend eternity in seems a bit more stupid to me. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick September 1, 2011 Its written nowhere to steal people’s land but the crusades happened anyways. Its written to rape kids but alot of priest still do it.It was also not written that in 1948 exactly the jews would regather. Some people can predcit alot of things with a book who was translated in at least 5 different dead langguage through time. And the bible was wrote many many years after Jesus Christ died and it was in another language. Also why did 500 years ago people said the earth was flat?Because no scientist wanted to prove THE CATHOLIC CHURCH wrong becaue THE CATHOLIC CHURCH said it was that way and if you thought another way you would get killed and it is historicaly tru.So explain me why does THE CATHOLIC CHRUCH killed people who said the earth wasnt flat but in their book it was written that the earth is circular and is being held by nothing. That makes no sense just like christians not beleiving in evolution and to me is just anothe rproof that christianity and religion is stupid in general. We dont need a book written and translated many times by a guy who tells us simple things like not to rape not to kill or steal etc. They needed that 200 years ago we dont need that in our time. Log in to Reply Avengedlevis7x September 1, 2011 Kungfu No other ancient book is questioned or maligned like the Bible. Critics looking for the flyspeck in the masterpiece allege that there was a long span between the time the events in the New Testament occurred and when they were recorded. They claim another gap exists archaeologically between the earliest copies made and the autographs of the New Testament. In reality, the alleged spaces and socalled gaps exist only in the minds of the critics. Manuscript Evidence. Aristotle’s Ode to Poetics was written between 384 and 322 B.C. The earliest copy of this work dates A.D. 1100, and there are only forty-nine extant manuscripts. The gap between the original writing and the earliest copy is 1,400 years. There are only seven extant manuscripts of Plato’s Tetralogies, written 427–347 B.C. The earliest copy is A.D. 900—a gap of over 1,200 years. What about the New Testament? Jesus was crucified in A.D. 30. The New Testament was written between A.D. 48 and 95. The oldest manuscripts date to the last quarter of the first century, and the second oldest A.D. 125. This gives us a narrow gap of thirty-five to forty years from the originals written by the apostles. From the early centuries, we have some 5,300 Greek manuscripts of the New Testament. Altogether, including Syriac, Latin, Coptic, and Aramaic, we have a whopping 24,633 texts of the ancient New Testament to confirm the wording of the Scriptures. So the bottom line is, there was no great period between the events of the New Testament and the New Testament writings. Nor is there a great time lapse between the original writings and the oldest copies. With the great body of manuscript evidence, it can be proved, beyond a doubt, that the New Testament says exactly the same things today as it originally did nearly 2,000 years ago. Corroborating Writings. Critics also charge that there are no ancient writings about Jesus outside the New Testament. This is another ridiculous claim. Writings confirming His birth, ministry, death, and resurrection include Flavius Josephus (A.D. 93), the Babylonian Talmud (A.D. 70–200), Pliny the Younger’s letter to the Emperor Trajan (approx. A.D. 100), the Annals of Tacitus (A.D. 115–117), Mara Bar Serapion (sometime after A.D. 73), and Suetonius’ Life of Claudius and Life of Nero (A.D. 120). I agree with you that the Catholic Church did all kinds of stupid things like kill people that had any other religious view then them.Back then no one else had a Bible just the priest. The fact is the Bible didn’t tell them to kill anyone they did it themselves. That’s one of the main reasons why are ancestors left to come to America to practice any religion they wanted. There were Persian kings that were atheist that killed thousands of people. Atheism did not tell them to kill anyone just like Christ did not tell Catholics to kill anyone they did it themselves. I could go down through time and show you all kinds of Atheist that did stupid things and killed all kinds of people. Does that mean all atheist are bad and stupid and have no idea what they are talking about? No it does not. Just like pointing out what catholics did in the past does not reflect on any true Christian today… I do appreciate the fact that you can have a discussion without getting mad and calling names. I enjoyed lessoning to your point of view even though we don’t agree. I’m happy we can agree to disagree in a civilized manner… Log in to Reply JoeDog September 1, 2011 Right hand = The Father Left hand = The Son Head Kick = Holy Ghost Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
